3 PRODUCT INFORMATION BOSPORUS-EUROPE-EXPRESS New direct train link from and to Halkali In cooperation with Adria Kombi and Europe Intermodal, Kombiverkehr for the first time offers a direct train connection in the intermodal traffic from and to Turkey: the Bosporus-Europe-Express. With this new connection, Halkali Terminal becomes integrated into Kombiverkehr s European block train network. The destinations in Slovenia and Germany are Ljubljana and München, respectively, who live up to their roles as important hubs in national and international traffic, especially in the gateway traffic. In this way, Germany, Slovenia and Turkey are optimally linked with each other. The following service features are strong arguments for using the Bosporus-Europe-Express to transport your loading units: Numerous connections from and to Italy, Germany and the Benelux region Continuous weekly connection with a transit time between 5 and 7 days, depending on the shipping terminal 2

10 YOUR BOOKINGS Special customs information for traffic to and from Turkey The acceptance of transportation of loaded loading units to Halkali is only possible to the external EU border with an export declaration together with the appropriate customs documents (AE, EX1 etc.). The export declaration must be provided by the shipper or freight carrier. Shipments from Turkey must be forwarded in the NCTS System in Ljubljana. EU transit shipments must be accompanied by a T1 document from NW Europe to Ljubljana or from Ljubljana in the direction of NW Europe. In order to allow a customs declaration in Kapikule (border BG/TR) and Halkali, a separate CIM bill of lading will be issued for each customer at the time of departure of the train in Ljubljana. The customs tariff number (NHM code) of the merchandise must be warranted by the customer and recorded in the shipping order. 9
