2 Forward Greenslade Taylor Hunt are delighted to announce the Rare Breeds Survival Trust South West Regional Branch Show & Sale will be making it s debut at Sedgemoor Auction Centre, North Petherton on Thursday 13 th September This event is fully sanctioned by the RBST who support the show & sale of Pedigree & Purebred Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Goats and Poultry. Introducing Sedgemoor Auction Centre... Sedgemoor Auction Centre is one of the largest markets in the country and the biggest in the South of England. Since opening in 2008 it has produced exceptional results and attracts Vendors and Buyers from all over the UK who have found its motorway location so convenient, being situated immediately adjacent to Junction 24 of the M5. Three regular weekly markets are held with all classes of Store Stock (often to head) on a Saturday, Prime Stock on a Monday and Cull Stock on a Tuesday. In conjunction with our regular weekly markets, special monthly sales of Organic Stock, Suckler Cows and Poultry are held. Other sales including Pedigree Society Sales, Dairy, Suckler & Sheep Dispersal Sales, Production & Reduction Sales along with quarterly Agricultural Machinery Auctions and regular Horse & Pony sales. Sedgemoor Auction Centre offers bespoke facilities with cattle being sold thorugh dedicated rings which benefit from electronic display boards to provide purchasers with information on lots being sold. All classes of sheep are sold in flexible pennage, allowing a great variation of breeds and types to be penned. Sows and Boars are penned individually to ensure that their welfare is not compromised. The entrance to the market will be found at the traffic lights on the left after approximately a quarter of a mile.
