Willing to relocate: Anywhere WORK EXPERIENCE IT Enterprise Architect GPT - January 2015 to Present Contract role as Architect to design the strategy and vision of technology across GPT, and within enterprise wide solutions. GPT, a property fund management company, invest heavily in cloud solutions and were the first 'all-in' cloud migrators. Key Responsibilities and Achievements: Enterprise Architect focusing on the new strategic Technology Roadmap, developing Business Intelligence capability and forming the architecture practice within the organisation. Set vision and defined key steps for introducing a unified integration approach. Currently being implemented, increasing business efficiency and productivity, whilst reducing technology risk. Led architectural view of Business Intelligence, including reporting principles rolled out across GPT that effectively guided the change in report use and thinking across all business units. Modelled current and future state information flows and GPT Source of Truth, via mapping automated and manual re-keying integration processes across 25+ applications. Solution Architect: New enterprise SaaS Project and Portfolio Management solution impacting all GPT business units. Shaped project vision by guiding Project Manager and business leads so enterprise wide standardisation was achievable, with a maintainable technical and business solution created. Modelled the current state and defined the target state of the Project and Portfolio Management capability within GPT, included high-level business, technical and SAP integration design. Aligned tool configuration and led business process re-engineering by concurrently determining and learning SaaS product capabilities and limitations, leading to reduced solution complexity. Technical lead for SaaS vendor selection process and technical vendor management. Advised business so that due diligence was successfully completed and appropriate vendor selected. General Created two Business Cases, inclusive of five year cost models. Both projects approved and implemented, exceeding previous financial investment for GPT in single IT System Solutions. Consultant Karnotech Pty Ltd - June 2014 to January 2015 Technical consultancy; included application architecture of Greenfield health application and accountancy web application development. Time includes recovery from fracturing both elbows in a bike accident.

2 Solution Architect and Solution Designer CBA - April 2012 to May 2014 Contract working on multiple Agile projects, with projects impacting all internal users, business users and consultants (onshore and offshore). I was given the opportunity to move to Solution Architecture due to excelling at steep learning curves in short timescales and ability to see both the broad and detailed views of solutions on CBA projects. Key Responsibilities/Achievements: Solution Architect for uplift of business critical applications to the new internal Cloud Infrastructure, defining application re-architecture requirements and infrastructure. Facilitated workshops and built stakeholder relationships (onshore/offshore teams, senior management, system owners, project managers, plus security/infrastructure architects) so uplift of multiple applications, processes and technologies was clear across all disciplines. Advocated and engaged with vendor to move Tibco components to internal Cloud, reducing costs and complexity. Persuaded infrastructure and related designers on the infrastructure design detail, whilst concurrently understanding the latest internal cloud offering. Developed project cost breakdown and ongoing infrastructure costs in a format that Project Manager could effectively aid senior management decisions. Reviewed proposals, defined scope and aided outsourcing vendor selection, including feedback on vendor limitations and costs for presentation to senior management. Convinced system owners to update applications and infrastructure in-line with internal standards, despite initial upfront costs, so long term costs and support was reduced. Solution Architect for consolidation and remediation of all Colonial First State external and internal correspondence applications (15+) and integration into to a new single documentation platform. Analysed existing processes and applications, proposing a streamlined solution that reduced application requirements, without the business seeing change in their procedures. Highlighted and remediated document request traceability and defined how new system would integrate to the new platform, so support teams could more rapidly respond to business queries. Architecture support and internal consultancy for multiple concurrent projects (5+) to enhance systems for Regulatory Reform changes. Acted on an advisory basis to Project Managers and Business so that technology risk, technical options and project risk could be managed by them, enabling long term technology and project goals to be met. Helped developers with prototyping and wire framing solutions, presenting these informally to business users so that business requirements and end state were more fully understood. Delegate to represent Design team in project meetings which include providing input on estimation and sizing for projects in deliverable pipeline. Lead Designer (3 designers) for new advisor management application. Part of programme to centralise advisor details and integrate 20+ systems (internal and external) to one system, giving multiple business streams a single view of advisors. Very tight deadline and high change project. Rapidly understood advisor business, business processes and systems; from on-boarding through to offboarding of multiple advisor types, so that design met complex requirements. Analysed and understood how the systems involved in the high level solution interacted and data that they provided, enabling successful design and integration of new application. 3 Karnotech Pty Ltd - March 2011 to March 2012 Short term consultant assignments in Sydney and Melbourne. Roles included: Vanguard Investments: Implemented Fixed Interest Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) in applications and ensured new transactions flowed to downstream systems. Included working with Fund Managers on trade floor to gather requirements for flow into front office applications. ACMA: Scrum project start-up to design a system to automatically capture web content, minimising investigators content exposure. Worked directly with solution architect to provide technical design and input into architecture (Citrix and.net capabilities), as well as feedback on vendor proposals Application Architect and Developer ASX - June 2010 to January 2011 Contract Application Architect and Developer for the ASX's new web application department. Architected and built re-useable framework and web portal that integrated with downstream systems for participants to register off market trades with the ASX and display trades to market (16 potential states per page). Framework implemented used for a further five ASX Web Portals. Key Responsibilities/Achievements: Designed an application pattern that minimised future development effort, was highly flexible and is reused to integrate web portals to downstream steams within the ASX. Solution framework audited and passed the stringent financial regulations required for ASX systems. Applications created with this framework available to every registered financial organisation in Australia. Quickly understood complex application trade security rules, ASX products and internal process' enabling direct communication with business to refine requirements and acted as point of continuity for Business Analyst role. Worked directly with Trading Operations to gain and incorporate requirements feedback into application throughout project, included managing technical and business stakeholder expectations from project inception. Ensured integration into ASX back-end systems for new application, understanding the different systems in the process of displaying a trade to market and mapping current system state. Investigated, proved concept and made recommendations to internal business and IT stakeholders that were implemented. This included: removal of requirement for SharePoint integration, SOA, control based design and design patterns used. Programme included addition and integration of new business streams within existing processes and high transaction systems, as well as addition of GL and CGT capability. Key Responsibilities/Achievements; Technical and Design Lead: Governance of architecture, design, standards and technical solution decisions, for applications interfacing database and team projects. Led technical direction of Data Warehouse and bespoke Web Applications so that industry standards were successfully implemented. Technical contact for key business stakeholders so that technical issues and their business needs were communicated effectively between business and technical teams. Worked closely with BAs, Solution Architects and other project teams, including third party partners and vendors, to understand requirements and provide technical solutions successfully within short timeframes.
