Concept phase A typical concept phase starts with a session where an S3 Group consultant supports an end-user in needs discovery and evaluation session with our clients. 3 Requirements Phase In this phase, we define the detailed product and service requirements for the chosen concept, ensure that a development process is in place that meets the product s quality, time-to-market and regulatory requirements, and that the planning, hazard analysis and de-risking are in place to enable the product or service to pass through a development-start phase-gate milestone.
