1 Dear Saint Vincent de Paul School families, Happy Feast Day of Saint Vincent de Paul! Please register for fall conferences. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade conferences are on other days. Please see the explanation below. Our lunch menu for the month of October is attached to this newsletter. Have a great weekend! Mrs. Salamon FALL PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES Thursday, October 3rd from 3:30 to 8:00. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teachers must attend a Diocesan Religion In-Service that evening. Their conferences are scheduled from 3:15 pm to 3:45 pm for the following two weeks. Please contact them personally if you need a different time to schedule a conference. Please use the following link to schedule all conferences. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL FEAST DAY Today, September 27th. We thank you for honoring our patron saint who is known for charity by providing the canned goods that your children presented at church today. The canned goods will be donated to our Ladies Auxiliary who provide food for the needy in our community. Thank you. Blessings to you and your families. VISITING AUTHOR Monday, September 30th we welcome Kevin Frank author of the Scurvy Dogs series. He will share his books with our students and give tips in how to create novels. Thank you to the Parent Association for providing this opportunity to our students. If you have a Scurvy Dog book at home, bring it into school on Monday for the author to sign! BOY SCOUTS Meeting on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:30. Please see attached flyer. COUNTRY PURE FOODS, a school STEM partner again this year. Your children enjoyed a slushy today and a free t-shirt, complements of Country Pure Foods. Many of our students taste tested the slushy last year and helped get it into the market this year. Well done! SAFETY Please follow our school policies for drop off and pick-up. Safety is our top priority! Drop off begins at 7:30 am. All car-riders must be dropped off from the Walnut Street entrance behind the school. The Maple Street entrance is ONLY for bus riders.
