4 ASWA Board Corner Comradery This year s theme is teamwork. I believe an important aspect of teamwork is comradery. Comradery comes from working with, valuing and enjoying the time spent with our fellow team members. Sharing the challenges of starting a project, following through together and celebrating completion are part of team building and accomplishment. A real part of all of this is the comradery we experience. Workloads are minimized and our spirits are enhanced when we share a rapport and genuine caring. This attitude makes things happen the way a well oiled hinge easily opens versus one that creaks, groans and struggles. The spirit of respect and friendship enhances a shared project, proving the old adage Many hands make light work. We all love success, but the real sweetness of success comes from sharing the moment. ASWA offers us all opportunities for teamwork with committed and good hearted people. We invite you to join in the team by volunteering within ASWA. But always, all of our members and those who participate by attendance are appreciated because all of us together provide backing and support for our chapter and all that ASWA stands for. No matter where you are right now in your time commitments enjoy the comradery of ASWA. Your fellow team member, Maggie Rerucha ASWA Board Member 4
