3 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Reports to: Staff Supervised: SEO Executive SEO Manager None Key Contacts and Relationships: Clients, colleagues from other areas of the business Overall Purpose: A passionate and semi-experienced SEO with a strong analytical background, quality driven and great attention to detail; you will join Webcertain s SEO team to help achieve its ambitious growth plans, with delivery excellence and rapid career development. Key Responsibilities: Implement SEO strategy and provide support for company s Account Management team Ability to understand our clients business objectives and suggest solutions to SEO related issues Ad-hoc duties will include geo-targeting strategy, site health checks, canonical auditing, schema mark-up, XML sitemap creation, competitor audit Conduct link audits using various tools and prepare reports on link status Monitor ranking and traffic performance and provide analytical reporting using a variety of tools including GA, Advanced Web Ranking, Webmaster Tools Work closely with the Keywords and Content Marketing Team to ensure copy and content development is SEO friendly and that all new content is SEO optimised. Involved in new service creation and continuous service development Stay ahead of all SEO developments and industry changes. Supporting with company marketing materials when required Delivering internal training when required; including one to one support for SEO trainees Essential Skills and Qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent From 6 months experience in executing SEO strategies

4 Understands key algorithm updates and SEO implications Experience in conducting keyword research and using Webmaster Tools GA set up, custom reports and advanced segments, building experience an advantage. Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS Experience of working with keyword tools Excellent understanding of a popular analytics system such as Google Analytics, and Omniture Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) Strong Analytical and numerical skills Strategic thinking and planning Strong presentation and communication skills Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English Desirable Skills and Qualifications: Understanding of web site development techniques, Content Management Systems, server responses, consumer journey and conversion optimisation Active interest in social media Knowledge of App Store Optimisation Wider experiences of other digital marketing disciplines Native-level proficiency in a Webcertain Business Language.
