9 CIC s Public Data Releases: Facts and Figures People based repor-ng: Facts and Figures: Immigra-on Overview Permanent and Temporary Residents, presents the annual intake of permanent residents and temporary residents. Contents: Sta:s:cs for admission of permanent residents are provided for: family class, economic immigrants, refugees ; and, other immigrants who do not fall into any of these categories. 10 CIC s Public Data Releases: Open Data Portal CIC has been an ac:ve par:cipant in the Open Government ini:a:ve since CIC s Quarterly Administra:ve Data Release (QADR) datasets were first made available on the Open Data Portal ( in In addi:on, all data tables from CIC s Facts and Figures publica:on are now available on the Open Data Portal. 10

In- Canada Refugee Claimants: Data on those who request refugee protec:on upon or aeer arrival in Canada (including demographic and geography variables). 11
