2 Study Goals For this report, IDC conducted a survey of large enterprises around the globe to explore public, private, and hybrid cloud IT adoption trends. A key focus of the research: evaluate worldwide enterprise IT cloud strategies and workload priorities. Respondents had enterprise-wide knowledge of cloud environments and represented a variety of industries.
