2 Gift Certificate An item purchased by the Consultant or customer to be given out for use to purchase Jordan Essentials products. A Gift Certificate can only be redeemed through the website of the purchasing Consultant. Hostess/Host An individual who receives benefits (based on sales) to invite family and friends to participate in a Jordan Essentials Spa Show where they can order products through a live experience or catalog. Consultant may host their own show once per 6 months. (Spouses can also host once per 6 months) Once January June and Once July-December JordanVention - Annual convention and training event complete with awards, training, fun and fellowship! Lead Locator - When a customer visits our JE website and does not currently have a Consultant, he/she is prompted to auto-choose a Consultant. Consultants who meet set monthly qualifications determined periodically by the Corporate Office the previous month and have a current web subscription that will be rotated and given to these leads to follow up with. Online Order Types Location: Business Center Purchase Gift Certificates - use this to purchase GC s for customers, Hostesses, etc. This will issue you Gift Certificate # upon purchase. Be sure to give that # to your recipient. A Gift Certificate Template can be found in the Learning Library. The customer must redeem the GC through YOUR website. At the payment screen, they will have the payment option to use the GC. Your customer then enters the Gift Certificate # assigned to her certificate and enters the amount of the GC to be used. Party & Spa Show Order use this order for any Show that you have done with a product demonstration, including one-on-ones ALL SPA SHOWS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF $ IN SALES. Overrides Bonus percentage paid for Team sales. Same as downline commissions. Pay Periods- Earn your commission as you go. Earn Team Sales and Sales Bonuses in monthly commissions. This is deposited into your e-wallet no later than the 5 th of the month. Policy and Procedures A comprehensive guide is located online in your JE Business center under Business Building Tools. Everything from can my spouse sign up to policy on advertising with the Jordan Essentials Logo. 106

3 Product Guarantee - Jordan Essentials guarantees products will be delivered as promised with a quality guarantee. Please see the order form and return policy and time frames in your JE Business Center. Prospect Also known as a lead. This is someone who is interested in learning more about becoming a Jordan Essentials Consultant. Reship - If an item does not arrive as promised, we will reship that item to you. Please use the Trouble ticket system available online and customer service will assist you. Ride-a-long Sometimes referred to as job shadowing, a New Consultant will ride-a-long with a veteran Consultant to watch and learn how she holds a successful Spa Show. Smart Start- The New Consultant sign up and is assigned a new ID. In days 1-35 if the New Consultant sells $200 in retail sales and completes the 30 day challenge ( must return to JECO) and receive a unique Logo t-shirt. Reach $500 in days 1-35 and wins $50 in a JE Shopping spree. -Achieve Star 3 Team Leader (see compensation chart) within your first 90 days and receive $100 cash!!! Spa Show Often called a party, this is usually held in the Hostess home with her friends and family in attendance where a Consultant does a brief presentation to sell Jordan Essentials products. Splash Page This is the Home Page in your Business Center that is updated frequently with News you can use. Check here frequently for the most up-to-date important info. Sponsor A sponsor is the Consultant who is responsible for the training and coaching of a New Consultant in their downline. Success Coach - Managing, Executive and National Consultant trainers host training calls to their downline teams for education, recognition and business coaching. Trademark/Logo The Jordan Essentials logo is trademarked and is the private legal use of the Corporate Home Office. We do not allow unauthorized use of the logo or trademarked name. Please be sure to make yourself known as an Independent Consultant and not corporate employee. Upline A term used to refer to the Consultants directly above a Consultant. 107

4 Upline Leader - term used for the person above you who is a Managing Director level or above that supports her team. Example: if your sponsor is a Star Consultant and her sponsor is a Managing Director you can contact your Managing Director for support also. Web Guidelines You have many opportunities to advertise your business online. When doing so you must represent yourself as an independent consultant. This is for your unique Consultant identity and reducing confusion with the Corporate home offices. No lewd or unethical dealings can be offered in conjunction with Jordan Essentials. 108

5 Frequently Asked Questions for Consultants Our list of frequently asked questions for Consultants comes from the home office questions we receive. Thanks to all the Consultants and leaders who helped compile the list. Who do I call if I need help? I do not want to bother Customer Service all the time or my sponsor. We have many ways for you to get help! I assure you we all want to help you get the information you need to be successful. You can contact your sponsor. She is happy to help you be successful. Our Trouble ticket system works great you can use this for order troubles, shipping issues, and product needs. You can access the Trouble ticket system under Support- then clicking on Customer care. You can also call Customer Care M-F 9-5:30 CST We can help you in many ways. We will encourage you to place your spa shows in your business center and there are documents in the manual to help you do that. Facebook has an exclusive community 24 hours called Jordan Consultant Community. Join the fun and conversations to help you build your business. 109

6 How can I tell what to charge someone as far as shipping goes before I enter it in the computer? We have a shipping chart you can carry with you and use to calculate shipping charges. If you have the orders shipped to you then you can use the volume shipping chart and save everyone on shipping charges. Example: Call your customers and let them know you are placing a monthly reorder for their favorite products and charge a percentage of the order for shipping using your shipping chart. How do I activate or cancel my web subscription? This can be done by going on to the Online Business Center or opening a trouble ticket. To activate your web store you would go to Orders Place an order-consultant Catalog-Sales Tools-Online Webstore then finish the order. If closing you would go to Autoship Manager- Select your Autoship- then select Deactivate. Do I need a credit or debit card just for JE? No, it is not required, however it is recommended to help you keep records in your Jordan Essentials business. Do I need to fill something out for my taxes? If you have earned $ or more in commissions by the end of year, Jordan Essentials will send you a 1099 for you to file with your taxes. How can I exchange a product? Complete a trouble ticket and go follow the Return/Exchange procedure. Our Return / Exchange policy is enclosed at the end of this manual and is also located on the back of our order forms. How can I replace a damaged or defective product? Missing product? Please open a Trouble Ticket and our Customer Service department will assist you. This order will be shipped at no charge to you or your customer. Do I (the consultant) or my hostess purchase the Golden Hostess Bar? When a Hostess holds a Spa Show of $500 or more, the consultant purchases the Golden Hostess Bar. It can be added to the order for $5.00. If you would like the prize included, please use the specific item # The prize is provided free to the Hostess on behalf of the Consultant. Golden Hostess Bars may be purchased on a Sales Tool order to have on hand. If this is the case, you may enter the prize item in the special instructions when you enter the spa show. 110

7 How do I know if my order has been shipped? When an order is placed, it can be viewed in the consultants Online Business Center under the Order Management tab. Here you can view where you order is within the process. 1. Approved when your order has been submitted to the home office 2. Final when your order has been printed and is in the 5 business day processing ( if it is a party order ) 3. Shipped - when your order has left the building or is ready for pickup How long will it take to receive my order? Jordan Essentials operates on a 5 business day processing time. This means your order is printed the following business day after it has been submitted to the home office. This counts as day one - it is then shipped on or before the 5th business day. Once it has left our warehouse, your order will deliver in 1-5 days depending upon your geographical location. Note that UPS and FedEx do not deliver on certain holidays or weekends. Jordan Essentials reserves the right to choose the most cost effective and expedient shipping method for each package. How long do fundraisers take to process? For custom labels it could take up to 2-3 weeks for an approved custom Lotion Bar. Allow 1-2 weeks for production. Complete time to ship a custom fundraising order is 3-5 weeks. Do we ship to Canada, Mexico, or overseas? No we do not sell outside the United States. American Military families can make arrangements with their base commander to have JE products shipped to an APO via USPS only. Special shipping rates apply please contact the home office for more information. How will I know if my Smart start bonus credit is in my account? Once you have reached the required dollar amount you will see the $50 in your e-wallet within 24 hours. How many times a year can I be the hostess of my own party? Twice annually you can host your own spa party and collect Hostess rewards. Members of your family who live with you may host twice annually as well. Remember a hostess is a person who gathers friends, orders and is supporting your business. Once January- June and Once July-December Can I choose to have my packages shipped Fed Ex or UPS? Jordan Essentials reserves the right to choose the most cost effective and time efficient way to ship your order. This may be USPS, FedEx or UPS. 111

8 Where do I go to find product #'s for the business tools and samples? Log into your website and go to the Consultant Catalog- switch to Expert mode ( described with screen shot in Online Business Center section) go to Sales Tools then click on the area you want to see item numbers for. Is there any Gluten in our products? Jordan Essentials hair products do contain wheat proteins as part of the ingredients. We use real oats in the Oatmeal Milk & Honey complexion bar and pure glycerin soap. Our other products may be processed in the same plant that uses wheat, rye, oats, barley, etc. For more ingredient questions see your ABC glossary of ingredients. How do I use Jordan Essentials pictures' to post on my own personal Facebook page? You can post most of the images from our website and s very easily! Simply right click on the image, select "save image as" and choose a location on your computer to save the file. Then return to Facebook and choose "Add Photo/Video". You will then browse for the file you saved to your own computer. After successfully locating the file, choose "Upload" and the file will be uploaded to your Facebook album. 12 Customer Product, Exchange, Return, and Guarantee Policy: All exchange, returns, and guarantees must be made through the Consultant you purchased your product from. Exchange: To exchange a product due to a wrong item, fragrance, or color ordered send product (3/4 full) within 30 days of purchase, postage paid, with request for replacement item. The exchange product and new product is subject to shipping paid by the purchaser. The replacement item will be shipped after all requirements are met. Return: Customer has 3 business days after product is ordered and/or delivered to cancel the order and/or refuse delivery of products. If the product is sent back in new and unused condition, the refund will be made to the Customer for retail product only. All postage and shipping charges are the responsibility of the Customer and are nonrefundable. Return product with a copy of the original invoice in new and unused condition. Guarantee: Products are manufactured guaranteed to be in the condition as promised, in the retail catalog. 1. Report defect or shipping damage within 3 months of purchase to your Consultant. 2. Over ¾ of product must remain in the container and obvious tampering or neglect will not be received (i.e. sun damage, melted, or destroyed products). 3. If the product is returned within 30 days from purchase, shipping expenses will be covered by Jordan Essentials. 4. If the product is returned after 30 days from invoice date, shipping fees will be at the expense of the purchaser. 5. No returns will be accepted after 3 months of purchase date. 6. Shipping is not refundable. The risk of loss in shipping for returned product shall be to the purchaser. No replacement of product will be made if the conditions of these rules listed above are not met. Hostess ½ price and free items cannot be exchanged but are subject to reship for guarantee for damage. If you cannot contact your Consultant, Please call toll free 116
