3 Primary Mark 0.1 Logo Specifics ABCDEFGHIJKLM abcdefghijklm This is the primary mark that should be used for Wyvrn. The layout is horizontal, which is optimal for online uses. If the logo is going on a dark background, it is suitable to use the white color for the logo. The logo was designed to represent the data collecting side of student feedback. The bar graph is located inside a speech bubble. The W in the logotype Wyvrn is reminiscent of the bar graph, which helps tie the elements together. Secondary Mark The secondary mark is for uses where the logo needs to be less horizontal. This should be used sparingly, most likely for use on social media icons, etc. Similar to the primary mark, you can use this logo in white if it is on a solid color background. It would be best to keep the background the official Wyvrn blue, but you have some wiggle room to change to the grey, or black.
4 The Typeface Family Only two font styles are used for the Wyvrn, and they are both from the same typeface family: Open Sans. The Open Sans family consists of Open Sans Regular, Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic. Open Sans is primarily a web font, since Wyvrn is largely online, it is okay to stick with these typefaces for any print materials also. 0.2 Typeface Details When to Use: Open Sans Bold should be used sparingly. Only use on headlines or keywords to draw attention. The majority of the type will be in Open Sans Regular. 6 Primary Color 0.4 Logo Styles ABCDEFGHIJKLM abcdefghijklm This is the primary logo to use. This is your main go-to version of the logo, except for limited exceptions below. Reverse Blue This is your primary go-to if the logo will be going on a solid blue background. Grayscale The grayscale logo color. This is the version of the logo for if you cannot have color or need something less busy. Solid Black The solid black version is only to be used for some forms of black/white printing applications. Social Media The social media image would probably be best with just the icon, but there are other options pictured here as well.
7 Do Not: Logomark The general rule to abide by is: do not change, alter, modify any part of the logo. 0.5 Logo Best Practices ABCDEFGHIJKLM abcdefghijklm Some examples of logo missuse are shown below. Do Not: Logomark Do not resize or change the position of the logomark. Do Not: Fonts Do not use any other font for the logotype, including Open Sans. Open Sans should just be used for supporting elements. Wyvrn Wyvrn Do Not: Sizing Do not use squish or squash the logo. Any resizing must be in proportion. Do Not: Color Do not change the colours even if they look similar. Use the official colour specifications detailed in these guidelines
