The CII, in conjunction with BIBA and AXA, has created the Academy. This provides a co-ordinated approach to training and development activity for firms and individuals across the broking sector. In particular, the regional face-to-face training programme, which has been devised and developed in consultation with brokers, will bring practical training solutions to locations across the UK. It's what you want, where you want it. The emphasis with these courses is to provide expert coverage of technical, business, management and sales issues as well as supporting study for professional qualifications, thereby equipping individual brokers and their firms for success in a competitive market. In every case, courses are delivered by leading market practitioners who can share first-hand experience of the issues. The face-to-face format ensures a stimulating, challenging and rewarding group learning environment that allows delegates to network with fellow broking professionals, adding another dimension to the experience. Local delivery of these high-quality courses ensures the cost of attending is highly competitive with a days training typically priced from 99. At launch, we are offering more than 140 courses in the following regions: Anglia; East Midlands; West Midlands; Merseyside & Greater Manchester; Scotland; Yorkshire & Northern UK and West of England. Additional courses and venues will be added during the year in line with demand.
