Suite Coaching Programmes Currently we offer four full awards that provide you with a unique and flexible route to not only achieving a full masters award but also enabling you to select a specialist route to accommodate your own professional development and personal learning needs: MA Executive & Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Supervision Postgraduate Certificate in Executive & Once you have completed the certificate level you can elect to progress on to the coaching psychology route enabling you to understand and work effectively with the psychological dimensions of coaching. Alternatively you can elect to undertake the coaching supervision route enabling you to offer supervision to coaches which is now required by professional bodies as part of ethical Graduates of our programmes can expect to find their careers develop in the fields of executive and organisational coaching and human performance consultancy in industry, in the human resources field or in private The Learning Experience All learning and development sessions are delivered on a structured yet informal basis. 3 Personal Learning Contracts Coaching Contracts provide you with a unique opportunity to explore areas of your coaching practice without having to commit to a full masters programme. Here you and a personal tutor will agree a customised pathway of learning. The learning contract can include any activities that advance understanding and practice in the area of coaching and can be directly related to your working We find this form of learning experience enables students to develop a very rich understanding of their practice and the theory that it is based upon. You will gather data from a wide range of sources including reading and reflection on activities completed, attendance at training events and coaching From feedback students have indicated that they very much enjoy this form of learning as it gives them considerable freedom to choose where they want to go and the pace at which they wish to move. The Programmes PG Cert Executive & Business Coaching The key feature of the programme is that it helps the coach to understand quickly and effectively the development needs of their key people. It equips managers or independent coaches with a tool kit of techniques to coach individuals through a wide range of personal performance issues and enables you to build a proactive learning and performance culture within any organisation. The PG Cert in Executive & Business Coaching forms the first stage of a three-part programme which also includes the PG Diploma and Masters stages. Modules The Essentials of Executive and Here we provide you with the essential knowledge and skills of executive and business coaching and reflective practice so that you can perform effectively as a coach. We will introduce you to a variety of theories, models, tools and techniques to help develop systematic understanding of executive and business coaching. PG Diploma in Coaching The aim of this programme is to provide an intellectually challenging coaching experience that gives you the opportunity to develop the critical skills in coaching psychology. You will consider a wide range of advanced psychological coaching models and approaches and their application to business, organisational development, executive and performance coaching. Designed for practising coaches and consultants who wish to extend their knowledge in the field of coaching psychology our programme brings together theory, research and practice to help you to critically evaluate and apply a wide range of specialist tools and techniques to enhance personal coaching Through the progressive development of reflective and reflexive practice you will gain greater experience and understanding of the inner game and how the tools can be use to improve personal and client performance. The course is for people who already have some experience as coaches and wish to further develop their psychological knowledge, skills and competences, including the personal development needs of practitioners relevant to coaching. The programme enables you to build on the skills gained from the postgraduate certificate route or other appropriate awards and develop your skills in a more specialist area. Coaching for Strategic Development of Management Careers The aim of this module is to allow you to develop a strategic understanding of management career development and how this can impact on the development of your own or your client s organisation. Effective coaching can really help your organisation grow as it helps your people to share ideas, build ownership and develop an attitude of success.

The programme critically evaluates the main theories and approaches to coaching supervision, addresses key issues such as professional ethics and diversity, explores the emerging challenges for supervision (such as being an internal supervisor for coaches in an organisation) and provides experience of 1:1 and group supervision with feedback from tutors and peers. We aim to provide you with the tools to use coaching to transform the performance of organisations, teams and individuals. We help you to optimise your strengths, see synergies and build your teams. Modules The Theory of Business and Executive Coaching Supervision This module provides you with a critical evaluation of the key theories and functions of coaching supervision, and their application to Different modalities of supervision are discussed (1:1, group; external to and internal to organisations) as are the distinctions between supervision and other forms of intervention (coaching; training; consulting etc.). The professional, organisational and cultural contexts of coaching and supervision are explored. The Practice of Business and Executive Coaching Supervision Here you have the opportunity at each workshop to practice coach supervision in small groups and receive feedback from tutors and peers. You will also experience group supervision and have the opportunity to run a group supervision session. You will bring to these groups your 1:1 supervision practice, which is a course requirement. Creative approaches to supervision will also be introduced in an experiential way. The practice sessions will actively seek to deepen understanding of the theoretical elements of the programme. The Personal and Professional Development of the Coach Supervisor This module focuses on the professional context of supervision, e.g. the professional bodies; accreditation; codes of ethics and practice, legal/statutory issues such as confidentiality and freedom of information and your professional development as a coach. There is a strong personal development element of the module, particularly developing the self-awareness that is at the heart of advanced professional MA Executive & This programme enables you to explore the theoretical frameworks and models used in general coaching and mentoring, reflexive practice and action learning.
