3 Industry Speaker Profile Dr Orlando Machado Head of Customer Science, MoneySuperMarket Dr Orlando Machado is Head of Customer Science for MoneySuperMarket, the UK s largest price comparison website. His team includes data experts, statisticians, insight analysts and CRM specialists, and is leading MoneySuperMarket s mission to put customers at the heart of all its decisions. As with previous events, our speaker has been hand picked for their insight, experience and ability to convey their sentiments in a way which will add value to your own perspectives. This year s speaker is no exception and we believe represents the best commentators in their fields. Orlando joined MoneySuperMarket from dunnhumby, a company that has been at the cutting edge of customer insight for over 20 years. Orlando spent 6 years in a number of leadership positions across all dunnhumby s UK clients, and most recently led the development of dunnhumby s solutions for creating personalised multi-channel customer experiences. Previously, Orlando led the UK analytics team for Wunderman, the world s largest online communications agency. He started his career in academia, and holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Warwick.

4 MBN Speaker Profiles Paul Forrest Chairman, MBN Solutions Paul Forrest has some twenty-five years experience of helping businesses to solve complex business problems, deliver their transformation goals and to achieve tangible strategic outcomes. Hands on and deep thinking, he has worked with many FTSE 100 clients, Global 500 businesses and major Government entities around the world including Ford Motor Company, VAG Group, BAE Systems, GSK, AkzoNobel, RBS, HBOS, Diageo, Bacardi, Wal-Mart, British Airways, Virgin Galactic, Etisalat, British Telecom, Vodafone and Allen & Overy. Paul also sits on the board of a number of agile, disruptive and challenger businesses whilst supporting value creation programmes for Private Equity backed businesses. He joined the board of MBN Solutions to help establish the platform for growth and focuses on the development of the senior team, management practices and MBN s core focus around Insight and Analytics. Paul has recently been named in the DataIQ Big Data 100. Listed as a data enabler, Forrest is identified as one of the most influential people in data and data-driven marketing appearing alongside key industry leaders from the best users of data including dunnhumby, the Information Commissioner s Office, British Airways, BBC, Channel 4 and Aimia.
