2 MINISIS Product Demo Guide Follow the instructions below to download and install a trial version of the MINISIS application/applications you would like to test. Once the download has finished, the installation can be done in 5 minutes or less if you use the defaults on the installation prompts. 1 Submit Registration Form Go to Fill out the registration form (all fields are mandatory). After filling out the form, select the product/products you wish to try and press the submit request button. If everything is filled out correctly, you will be taken to another page where you can download the application/s. If information is missing from the form you will be prompted to fix it before you can move on to the next step. Fill out form Select product to demo Press submit 2 Download the Application/s After filling out the registration form completely and pressing submit, the download page will automatically load. You should see the application/s that you selected in the registration form. Click on each application icon individually to start each download if you are downloading more than one. 3 3 Finish the Download and Install Each application you download can be close to 1 gigabyte in size, so it may take some time to download. Depending on what browser you are using (E.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) you should be able to see a download progress bar at the bottom of the bowser window. Once the file/s have finished downloading, find them in the downloads folder on your computer. Double click each.exe file to start the installation process (each application must be done individually). Download progress 4 Follow the Installation Prompts You will be taken through the following prompts: Wait for the installation wizard to start up and click yes after reading the licencing agreement. 4 5 Enter Product Serial Number After submitting your registration form (step 1) you will be ed a product serial number to the you provided. If you haven t received the product serial number within 48 hours please contact us at , or (toll-free). This serial number will activate your 90-day product trial. Enter it as shown below (your numbers will differ from the ones in this example). You will also need to enter the name of your organization. The installer program will provide a confirmation window for you to review your name and serial number. If correct continue by clicking Yes. If incorrect, click no and follow the screen flow to re-enter the mistyped details. 6 Setup Follow the screen prompts to finalize the installation. If this is your first installation of MINISIS, select Install MINISIS and click next. MINISIS MINISIS Inc. 3

5 Select your product and SMA and click next. Select next to install the product on you C drive. Select your language and click next. Click next to begin installation. 7 Finalize the Installation You will see the following set of screens as the product installs. When the product has finished installing, you will be able to find it and launch it from the C drive on your computer. MINISIS MINISIS Inc. 4

8 When the installation is finished you can launch it from the C drive on your computer by double clicking the product name (M3 in the example below). MINISIS MINISIS Inc. 7

9 8 Enter User Name For Each product you must enter a user name provided in the table below. No password is necessary. Product SMA (login with the username beginning with the product name you want to work with) MINT M3 User Names M3_MGR M2A_MGR M2L_MGR MINT_ REGMGR The user name for registration is Mint_Reg For Museums it is Mint_M3 For Archives it is Mint_M2A For Libraries it is Mint_M2L M3 (or MINT_M3) M2A M2A (or MINT_M2A) M2L M2L (or MINT_M2L) Enter the user name for the program you are opening and press OK.
