Digital Media / Project Manager at Intelligent Media Solutions February February 2011 (2 years 1 month) As the Digital Project Manager I was tasked with creating and delivering the company s digital strategy. I built the digital presence of the magazines from an auxiliary function to profitable resources in their own rights, through outlets such as , websites and digital marketing campaigns. I produce innovative solutions, whilst keeping an eye on the bottom line. I have worked across a number of magazine titles, managing the maintenance and development of all websites, which resulted in traffic increases over 200%. I was in charge of all marketing, from the design stage to sending to an extensive subscriber list. I produced analysis of stats, which I used to develop strategies to improve general digital effectiveness. I initiated the participation in social media, with a particular focus on Twitter. This resulted in rapid growth of traffic to the sites and has shifted the focus of the magazines from commentators to conversation shapers. 3 July October 2006 (3 years 4 months) At University I was the Chair of the Entertainments committee a role which involved a great deal of responsibility; dealing with large budgets and it meant liaising with some of the UK s biggest names in Entertainment. This role led to employment as an Entertainments Assistant at the University Union, a multitasking, problem solving position that was extremely demanding and very enjoyable. I was responsible for promotion and running of nights in Students Union Night Club Asylum. When running a night, I was in a troubleshooting role liaising between Bars, Security, Artists and Management. Also finding time to DJ to crowds of 1600 students each week. I am deeply interested in current affairs and regularly harangue my local MP with letters about issues I care about, I am intrigued as to how the political world responds to the digital age we live and how it copes with the democratization of knowledge.
