12 Bo Barron, CCIM Sperry Van Ness Advisors Bo Barron, CCIM serves as an advisor for Sperry Van Ness/The Barron Group, specializing in the sale and leasing of retail, office and multifamily property in Western Kentucky. In just three years, Barron has secured more than 50 transactions valuing in excess of $13 million. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Barron served as a commercial real estate specialist for Wm. G. Barron Enterprises. Previously, he served for five years in United States Marine Corps as a sergeant and cryptologic linguist. While serving in the Marines, Barron led a platoon of more than 20 Marines and received two joint service achievement medals. Bo Barron, CCIM Advisor Sperry Van Ness Barron holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and real estate brokers licenses in the states of Indiana and Tennessee and the commonwealth of Kentucky. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Kentucky Real Estate Commission and the Owensboro Board of Realtors, and currently serves as president for the local chapter of Business Network International (BNI). Active in his community, Barron serves as a board member for the Owensboro Family YMCA, the Owensboro Rotary Club and MentorKids Kentucky. Barron earned a bachelor s degree in Organizational Communications from Murray State University and an associate s degree in Arabic from the Defenses Language Institute.
