2 prototype the initial prototype of Mijn Aangifte-app is developed for iphone in landscape view. a user test made clear that users expect the app to work in portrait. the app is designed for phone and tablet in android and ios mijn aangifte-app Belastingdienst app for tax-refund 2013 Q s prototype The Belastingdienst has developed Mijn aangifte-app for a small group of users with an easy tax-profile. The app uses only the information that is already known at the Belastingdienst. A user cannot change or add any information in the app. The app has a fixed number of screens based on themes. Only the screens that apply to the user are presented to him. The app is initially developed for phone and tablet (android and ios) but after a user test is decided that only the tablet version is launched for 2013.

In 2011 a project has started to redesign the tax-refund form for both interaction as visual design. The content of the form is reshuffled to match the experience of the user and has lead to screens based on themes like income, house and bank accounts. At the same time a redesign of the form is made to adjust it to the Rijkshuisstijl. The tax-refund form has become the example for the other tax forms.

Two interactive instruments were developed to support the participants. With the first tool, the narrative canvas, a user creates a personal vision on life in 2040, consisting of four pages that resemble a graphic novel. The second tool, the moodboard, functions as a mind-mapping tool.

Nature management on the BES-islands is structured in a completely different manner than in the Netherlands: island governments legally delegated management of biodiversity and protected areas to NGOs on each of the islands. To collect all the data from these NGO s and make them accessable in one system, this application around monitoring is developed.

A user can search and browse through the content by an extended search mechanism. He has access to information on a course, he can compare courses and subscribe himself. Training institutes and OTIB itself can add of edit courses on the content management part of the site.

Integraal samenwerken stimulates disciplines to coorporate from the start of a project. This has many advantages like cost reduction, more correspondance on the wishes of the users and less adjustments during the project. The website Integraal samenwerken contains information on this new way of working, offers tools and checklists and visitors of the site can follow a demonstration project.

Their logo, a big brown bag (designed by Il panda elektrik) represents the knowledge they have collected in the past. On the homepage of the website the bag has become the main object for navigation. By hoovering the icons in the bag a visitor can scan what Dames op bezoek does, who they are, for whom they have worked and what their mission is. By clicking an icon the visitor can read an extended version of the information on a sub page.
