2 MotoFest is a brand new concept that will combine the Boonah Street Festival with a series of high octane motorcycle events and activities to be held at Queensland Moto Park, Boonah. Well known for its arts, culture and rural pursuits, the Scenic Rim will be on display as part of the Boonah Street Festival which will be held on Saturday 26th September in the main streets of Boonah. Come and be part of the fun and challenge yourself to change a motorcycle tyre faster than your dirt riding hero, explore Boonah s many resturaunts and speciality shops, and be introduced to the talented men and women who ll take on the MotoFest EnduroX loop. Motorcycling Queensland Motorcyling Queensland (MQ) has been the controlling body for motorcycle sport and recreation in Queensland since MQ, and its team of seven fulltime staff, professionally manage the business of motorcycle sport and recreation in Queensland. MQ is responsible for managing event calendars, insurance and promotion for an organisation consisting of 7,000 licence holders, over 300 venues and 90 clubs throughout the state. What is Motofest? In recent years Boonah has also become synonymous with Queensland Moto Park an off-road motorcycle facility that plays host to 30,000 off road motorcyclist / visitors annually. On Sunday 27th September, Queensland Moto Park, a mere 7kms from the heart of Boonah, will explode into life as it hosts a number of spectator friendly, extreme off road motorcycle events including: EnduroX, RXT Helmets Dash 4 Cash, Kick Start Arena Trials and Freestyle MX demos. Visitors to Saturday s Boonah Street Festival will be able to get up close and personal with riders and machines competing in Sunday s EnduroX, as they will be scrutineered and presented to spectators in the streets of Boonah. The two events will be promoted in a carnival-style atmosphere offering both spectators and riders an experience not to be missed. MotoFest... don t miss out! Who are the key players in Motofest? Queensland Moto Park Queensland Moto Park (QMP) is Australia s premier off road motorcycle riding facility. Officially opened in December 2011, the Park is a joint initiative of the Queensland Government, South- East Queensland Council of Mayors and Motorcycling Queensland (MQ). MQ is responsible for the employment of full-time staff to manage the day to day running of the Park. QMP is located in the heart of the Scenic Rim - a 60 minute drive from Brisbane. Ray Buchanan With more than 40 years experience in the motorcycle industry, Ray Buchanan was an obvious choice to be appointed as Manager of QMP. Ray is also the founder of Australian Dirt Bike Adventures and runs a variety of off road adventure motorcycle events. The most famous of these is the Woodendbong Trail Ride which has been running for 12 consecutive years. Ray has the unique ability to create partnerships with local small businesses, community organisations and large corporate companies all of whom understand the popularity of off road motorcycling. 10 ENDUROX Details in brief... Sponsorship/Partnership: A variety of opportunities available, including naming rights. When: Sunday, 27th September Classes: Open, Clubman/ Womens/ Veterans & Junior (12- under 16 years). Type of event: Open Class- three hour Others- one hour Types of obstacles: Creek crossings, hill climbs, log sections, rock sections as well as a variety of other man-made obstacles. Entries: Will be made via nominate.com.au and will close Tues 15th September. $70 - Open, $50 - Clubman/ Women s/ Veterans, $40 - Junior Lites Promoted by: Motorcycling Queensland & Queensland Moto Park. Prize money: Significant prize money will be offered. Lucky door prizes: Every rider who enters this event will go into a draw to win one of three QMP annual passes. The EnduroX at MotoFest will be a unique Off Road event incorporating a series of man-made and natural terrain obstacles. The circuit will be approximately 14kms in length, the majority of which will be spectator friendly. It will be a GNCC style event. There will be a number of prime / designated spectator points set up close to obstacles allowing spectators the opportunity to get up close and personal with the riders. These areas will also offer event partners a fantastic opportunity to promote their brand (signage, etc). The EnduroX event will offer classes for Open riders, Juniors (12-u16yrs) and a combined Clubman / Womens / Veterans class (run together, scored separately). Junior classes will kick-off proceedings at 9am with a one hour race, followed by the combined Clubman / Womens / Veterans class at 10:30am also contesting a one hour race. The Open All Powers class is being pitched as the feature event at MotoFest as the event sits neatly in between the ISDE (7th 12th September) and the A4DE (19th 25th October) and we anticipate involvement of some of Queensland s and Australia s top Enduro riders, as well as many top line Motocrossers eager to test themselves over three hours and potentially take home the prize money on offer. The Open class will commence racing at 12 midday and will contest a three hour event. This EnduroX event is being scheduled in such a way to allow riders the opportunity, should they wish, to participate in both the EnduroX and Dash 4 Cash events (entry discounts apply for riders entering both events). It is anticipated that there will be significant prize-money on offer across all classes. Riders entering the EnduroX event will have the option of also entering the Dash 4 Cash event at no additional cost, provided you meet the class requirements

When: Sat 26th & Sun 27th September Classes: Open, Senior Lites, Senior Womens Unlimited, Legends and Junior. Location: Natural Terrain Track at QMP. Entry requirements: Junior or Senior National Licence & a MYLAPS transponder (available for hire) Entries: Entries will be $30 (free for invited legends), made via Nominate.com.au and will close Tues 15th September. Promoted by: Motorcycling Queensland & Queensland Moto Park. Prize money: Significant prize money will be offered and winners will take home a RXT Helmet. Lucky door prizes: Every rider who enters this event will go into a draw to win one of three QMP annual passes. The Dash 4 Cash event at MotoFest will commence with qualifying on Saturday 26th September, with Finals being run on Sunday 27th September. There will be classes offered for: Open, Senior Lites, Legends, Senior Womens Unlimited and a Junior 14/15 years class. The Dash 4 Cash event will be held on Queensland Moto Park s (QMP) Natural Terrain Track. Often used as a practice / training venue by many of Australia s top Motocrossers, the natural terrain circuit at QMP is considered by many to be one of the best in the country. A number of prime locations for signage, etc around the track will be offered for event sponsors / partners, as well as naming rights for the event. The prerequisite to enter the Legends class is that the rider must have won, as a minimum, a Open level state, national or international MX or SX championship and is aged 35yrs or older at the time of the event. The Open, Pro Lites, Senior Womens Unlimited and Junior classes will include practice and qualifying on the Saturday, with practice commencing at 11am and qualifying at 12 midday. All four classes will be offered 2 x 15 minute windows to produce their fastest single lap time. The top 10 fastest riders in each of these classes will progress to Sunday s feature finals. On Sunday the top 10 in each class will be split into two 5 rider Semi-Finals, with each semi-final being contested over two hot laps, the top two riders from each semi-final will progress to the Final four rider Final. The Legends class will not include Saturday qualifying. All Legends entries will progress straight to Sunday s finals, where the total number of entries will be split into two even semi-finals via ballot. The semi-finals, final and presentation for each class will be conducted back to back, commencing with the Womens class at 9am, the Senior Lites at 9:30am, the Opens at 10am, the Legends at 10:30am and the Juniors at 11am. This event is being scheduled in such a way to allow riders the opportunity, should they wish, to participate in both the EnduroX and Dash 4 Cash events. Riders entering the EnduroX event will have the option of also entering the Dash 4 Cash event at no additional cost, provided you meet the class requirements.

When: Sunday, 27th September Classes: The A line (more challenging) and the B line (suitable for experienced Trials riders Location: Designated Trails Circuit at QMP Entries: $30 per rider and will be made via nominate.com.au and will close Tues 15th September. Promoted by: Queensland Moto-Trials Subcommittee, Motorcycling Queensland & Queensland Moto Park Prize money: Significant prize money will be offered. Lucky door prizes: Every rider who enters this event will go into a draw to win one of three QMP annual passes. The Kick Start Arena Trial at MotoFest will require riders to complete a series of obstacles / sections, incurring time penalties for every / any time they touch the ground, or fall off their machine. The total length of the Kick Start Arena Trials circuit at MotoFest will be approximately 500m, comprising of approximately 10 different sections, including natural terrain and man-made obstacles such as logs, cars, tractor tires, rocks and steep climbs, for a bit of fun there will also be a limbo bar, bunny-hop and balance beam sections (see proposed circuit on next page). The riders will tackle the circuit one at a time. Time penalties are incurred in the instance of a rider failing any of the sections. Riders with the best times will advance to Semi-Finals and Finals. Spectators to this event, will have plenty of viewing areas, and the event will be situated close to the VIP area and parts of the MotoFest EnduroX circuit. Plenty of sponsorship opportunities and advertising space on all sections of the Kick Start Arena Trial. The Kick Start Arena Trials will cater for two levels of rider. The A Line for A/B grade riders, and the B Line set at what would be close to MQ Trial event C grade, making the event suitable for riders of all ages (14-70) also riders of twinshock bikes could compete. The basic format is qualification laps from the start of the event with the fastest times proceeding to the final main event. This event is a race for the riders over extreme obstacles, Trials style!
