2 Speedway 100 The Speedway 100 is an exciting, new, annual team running event that will honor the many traditions of the Indy 500 and raise funds to benefit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum. Taking place just outside the famed oval and through the streets of the Town of Speedway, the Speedway 100 will include 33 teams made up of runners and walkers each who will combine to complete 100 miles over a 2.5 mile course. Up to five team members may be on the course at the same time with prizes awarded to the individual with the Fastest Lap, Most Laps, Fastest at 25 Miles, 50 Miles, 75 Miles and the Winning Team. A post race party and Victory Celebration will be held at the Dallara IndyCar Factory from 12:30pm-2:00pm with food, drinks and awards presentation. Proceeds from the Speedway 100 will benefit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, a 501[c][3] organization, and help underwrite the Museum s educational programs and restoration and maintenance of its world-famous collection of race cars, pace cars, classic antique passenger cars, motorcycles, race trophies, and racing memorabilia. 5 Speedway 100 Team Participation Up to 33 teams, where a team is a group of allied participants who join together to compete and who may be from a corporation, running group, school, circle of friends, etc. Teams consist of 10 to 20 people Each team member must complete at least one lap, running or walking 5 team members may be on the course at a time If you don t want to put a team together but want to sponsor a school or non-profit group, just let us know and we ll connect you with a deserving group If you fall a bit short with participants from your organization, we can supplement your team Fee covers up to 20 participants, finishers t-shirts, medallions, and invitations to Victory Celebration Teams design and furnish their own pit stops and provide their own participant uniforms for the competition Fee Amounts: Entries received by March 1st, 2016, or from a member of the Speedway Chamber of Commerce: $2,000 Entries received after March 1st, 2016: $2,500 Payable to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation, Inc. All proceeds benefit the Hall of Fame Museum and its plan to bring technology to its educational programs to highlight the history, innovation, daring, and speed that is the legacy of motor racing.

The following Sponsor levels do not include a team entry. The entry and cost for that is listed below.
