2 EXISTING MENTORING AND COUCHING ACTIVITIES IN KLAIPEDA Mentoring and couching activities are mainly organized by private companies or individual certified couchers in Klaipeda. Grand Partners company (now called Linkage Baltic) is best known among consulting companies in Klaipeda region. It offers various couching programs for managers of the companies. Offered couching sessions are aimed to expand thinking limits, get better understand of yourself and other people. Target group: managers of companies. The improved skills of managers after couching: More effective ways of business expansion; Ability to motivate the personnel; Ability to use the potential of the personnel to achieve company s goals; Ability to managed changes effectively. Linkage Baltic company offers leadership trainings called Leader Academy. Trainings are based on a successful leadership competencies, skills and responsibilities within the model (the High Impact Leadership Model ) developed in conjunction with Warren Bennis. Leadership trainings include: Leadership style assessment of 360 (Leadership Assessment Inventory ), and many other leaders of competency evaluations. They are the result of an individual statement of your leadership style and how it affects others and the company. Individual coaching sessions. Their time together with the specialist determine how to develop existing skills and to achieve the desired behavioral changes. Practical training based on situations (case) method, and develops the most important organizational problem solving skills.

Facilitators of the educational process - practitioners, managers and consultants with more than 20 years of work experience. Intensive 4-8 day program during which associates to form a team, changing the experience and training. Other coaching companies mainly are based in Vilnius and they don t have any branches in Klaipeda.

4 TARGET GROUPS: POTENTIAL USERS AND CLIENTS Potential users are the representatives of Klaipeda creative industries (CI), i.e. owners or managers of small CI companies, private individuals working in CI or CI start ups. Potential users are being selected by asking to fill in the form in which basic information about the person, its business and motivation to take part in mentoring program. The form is available online in Klaipeda Economic Development Agency (KEDA) website The form is also distributed during the workshops, seminars and other events organized by KEDA. MENTORS AND COACHES Klaipeda Economic Development Agency has selected 5 mentors who have great experience in their work field. The selected mentors agreed to work on voluntary basis. Roma Stubrienė Director at Klaipeda Science and Technology Park, professional coach. Worked as director of Regional Development Department at Klaipeda County Governor s Administration, journalist at Newspaper "Klaipėda", news manager at Klaipeda city municipal television

5 Vaidas Vyšniauskas Director of Klaipeda branch Medicine Bank, member of Rotary club Concordia Worked in various Lithuanian banks: commerce director of Klaipeda branch Vilnius Bank, retail banking manager of Klaipeda region at DnB NORD Bank. Worked as a finance consultant, lecturer, finance broker. Vaidas Vyšniauskas is a member of Lithuanian Correspondence Chess Federation. Raimundas Vaitiekūnas Marketing consultant, West In club and Holiday Park project marketing manager. A member of Rotary club Conkordia 1826 and Klaipėda University Council. More than 15 years experience in teaching marketing in Lithuania and abroad, consulting companies on marketing strategies and management issues (has already consulted more than 200 companies, for eg. IBM, Timex, Seiko, Volvo, Seat, etc.)

6 Raimonda Laužikienė Economist, business management expert and psychologist, who has more than 15 years experience in business consulting. Raimonda Laužikienė also has had her own business. During last 6 years she has been working as a project manager and consultant in creative industries. Nowadays she is working as a director of Klaipeda Economic Development Agency. Raimonda Laužikienė graduated in Economics and Psychology in Vilnius University, she studied business consulting in Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, couching in the Couching Academy (London). Žana Dragunova Professional couch (Sankt- Peterburg Couching Institute), a member of ICF Lithuania. She has been coaching managers of various companies, organizing and strategic sessions for companies. Mainly Žana Dragunova works in these spheres: 1. CEO Coaching, Executive Coaching; 2. Helping companies to grow values, objectives, sales; 3. Promotion of entrepreneurship; 4. Emotional intelligence in business.

7 TIME SCHEDULE FOR IMPLEMENTATION The mentoring program will be started in June, 2012 by the joint meeting of CI entrepreneurs and mentors. When entrepreneurs chooses the mentor, individual consultations will be started. In total every entrepreneur will be able to get up to 10 hours of seminars and individual trainings. It is predicted that in the beginning mentors and entrepreneurs will meet once or twice a month, every meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Joint seminars and workshops will be organized once half year. The program of seminars and workshops will be arranged according to the needs of entrepreneurs.
