Minimum numbers are required for all courses to commence. Enrolment forms must be completed for all courses and fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment to secure your place. Local Learn funded classes. Local Learn courses are available to people who are an Australian citizen or a holder of a permanent visa or a New Zealand citizen. Payment of Fees Payment can be made in person by cash, cheque or direct deposit. Refunds Please check all times, dates and course information carefully before you enrol. Refunds are only available until 7 days prior to the commencement of classes. An Administration fee of $20 applies to all refunds unless a course is cancelled. No refunds for missed classes. 2

Computers and ipads Microsoft Windows 7 Basics Bring your Laptop or Computers are provided. This course will cover the basics of Windows 7 & Office. Includes email, internet, file management, Word, Excel, Digital Imaging and virus protection. Students are required to bring a USB memory stick to every class. Suitable for older adults. English for migrants English classes, covering various levels, are conducted to cater for the needs of migrants with appropriate residency status. Our experienced and qualified staff are there to teach and guide you on a personal level. Our English classes are for adults from non-english speaking backgrounds who wish to improve their reading, writing and conversation skills. Please ring 9899 0062 to book your interview. Run by our lovely volunteer, Anna, why don t you come along with your Craft items, meet new friends, have a Coffee and Chat and spend a pleasant afternoon. HACC - SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUPS Our friendly program is run by our experienced HACC Coordinator Lynn. It is for older people who are living independently. Come along and enjoy some recreational time, new experiences and friendships. Armchair Exercise and Strength Training Keep yourself active and healthy. Gentle exercise vital for joint mobility and general strengthening. Exercises are tailored to your individual needs after an initial assessment. We incorporate hand and ankle weights. All you need is comfortable clothing and supportive footwear. Classes are conducted by a fully qualified instructor. Thursdays 10:30am to 11:30am Cost $8 or $5 concession Tai Chi for Arthritis This Sun Style Tai Chi exercise class is especially designed and adapted for older adults and people with arthritis. This Tai Chi is particularly easy to perform because of its high stance and is safe, easy to learn and suitable for every fitness level. Thursdays 12noon to 1pm $8 or $5 Concession 6
HACC - SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUPS Monthly Movies and Trips Our fun group goes to the beautiful Balwyn Palace Cinema to see the latest movies twice a term and we share a basket lunch all for the great low price of $15. Call us if you interested in coming along. We also have day trips once per term, and overnight trips once per year. Volunteers are the heart of Clota Cottage Clota Cottage relies on its volunteers in our Occasional Child Care, Social Support program, community vegetable garden, office administration and Committee of Management. The rewards are endless and it is a great way to improve your skills, meet new people and become actively involved in your community. Rooms are available to community at reasonable hourly rates. Playgroup Sessions Space is available for playgroups, Mother s groups, Father s groups and Grandparents groups who look after young children. Our indoor playroom is fully equipped and we also have a secure outdoor playground. Ring our office if your are interested in joining or starting up a playgroup.
