TAP 2015 Introductory Guide For SWN Contractors
What is the Training Assurance Program? TAP, or Training Assurance Program, is required training for all contractor employees who perform work at a SWN job site or location The purpose of TAP is to ensure all contractor employees are familiar with and understand SWN s minimum HSE expectations outlined in our safety handbook TAP was implemented in 2013, and with the release of the SWN 2015 HSE handbook we are updating TAP to reflect any changes and additions to our minimum requirements

ISN is the third party provider SWN utilizes that assists with online contractor qualification, management, and monitoring for compliance with SWN s HSE requirements Contractors will access TAP 2015 courses through If your company is not subscribed to, determine if it is required (see slide 5) If your company is already subscribed to, skip to slide 6
A contractor company must be subscribed to if they perform work at a SWN owned, leased or operated location, and/or perform work that may pose potential harm to the health and safety of: surrounding personnel; SWN owned, leased or operated assets or equipment; and/or the environment To subscribe, please contact the ISN Customer Service Team at (800) 976-1303 or by email at CustomerService@isn.com If you believe your company is exempt from subscribing to, please email contractorhse@swn.com with the subject line ISN Not Required, TAP Account Needed
Add your company employees who perform work on SWN s behalf into so that they may access the Online Training Tool Each employee will receive their own login information once they are added into This login information will be used to access TAP
Please follow the steps listed below to enter a new employee: 1. Click Company Information 2. Click Employees 3. Click User Login Access 4. Click +Add New Employee
5. Enter all applicable information (Note: Last and First Name are required fields) 6. Click Save/Next 7. Select the Login tab 8. Enter a Username (Note: the user can change this later) 9. Enter a Temporary Password or Check the Auto Generate box 10.Enter all other required information (email address & time zone) 11.Click Save (Note: Once saved, an email will be sent to the user with the login information)
12. Select the Security Permissions tab 13. Select a Security Role or appropriate permissions for the user Most employees will only need the Online Training Tool View permissions, but employees that will be conducting group training will need the Online Training Tool Admin permission 14. Click +Save 15. Select Email Settings tab 16. Select all applicable Email Options and Email s 17. Click +Save
If you have a large number of employees to enter into (approximately more than 30 employees) you may follow the steps listed in the previous slides to enter individuals one at a time OR You may call the Customer Service Team to request an upload template (1-800-976-1303)
If your company has not previously completed TAP 2013 in Smart Training, please disregard Step 3 (slides 14 and 15). If your company has previously completed TAP 2013 in Smart Training, please see Step 3.
Since your company has completed TAP 2013 training, there are historical records of completion in the Smart Training system associated with your company s TAP account The Contractor Management team will email each TAP account representative with a list of the individuals who have a record of TAP completion associated with that company s Smart Training account Upon receipt of this email, print and keep a record of it according to your Record Retention Program The SWN HSE Assurance Team will request this information during an assessment
Review this list for employees who are still currently working at your company When TAP 2015 training is released, this list will determine which employees will be assigned the TAP 2015 Core vs the TAP 2015 Supplement Only employees who are on this list, and therefore have taken TAP 2013, may have the option of taking the TAP 2015 Supplement (condensed training) All other employees not on this list will be required to take TAP 2015 Core (2 hour training) Note: If your company does not want to review this list and assign the TAP Supplement vs TAP Core, you have the option of assigning TAP 2015 Core to all employees
