2 ONLINE APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 1 ONLINE ADMISSIONS APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING PGDA The PGDA comprises 4 compulsory year long units and no electives. Successful completion of the PGDA requires a minimum pass mark of 50% for each unit. In order to qualify for SAICA s ITC, a pass mark for all 4 units must be achieved in the same year. To begin please copy the following link into your browser: monash.edu.au/connect/webconnect Click here to create your account Complete your details and choose a password then click submit. Once you click submit a username and password will be sent to the address that you provided, follow the link in the and use your details to sign in. This is where you login- use the details sent to you via and click login

Now your application for the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (course code: 3662) starts. Immediately click the apply for course button STEP 1: Complete your personal details and then click STEP 2: Complete the Other Personal Details section and then click You are applying to the South African campus. Please select 10 if you are a South African citizen or 11 if you are an international student

4 ONLINE APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 3 If you have a disability please tick the check box and click continue If you do not have a disability leave the box un-ticked and click Check the box if you have disability STEP 3: COURSE DETAILS Enter course code 3662 for the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and then click Enter course code 3662 Once you have clicked continue the following page will appear, check that the PGDA course is reflecting as shown below and then click continue Ensure that the PGDA course is reflected here STEP 4: AGENT DETAILS If you are NOT using an education agent please leave this page blank and click Leave blank and click continue if you are not using an education agent

5 ONLINE APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 4 STEP 5: SECONDARY EDUCATION DETAILS It is not necessary for you to submit secondary education details. Click no and then click Click No and click continue STEP 6: TERTIARY EDUCATION DETAILS NB! Please correctly enter the details of your Tertiary studies. NOTE! If you are currently studying please indicate this on the level of completion question. Indicate if you are currently studying Once you have clicked continue the following screen will appear, you can now either add more tertiary details (if applicable) or click NO CREDITS ARE GRANTED FOR PGDA- Leave the credit box un-ticked and click STEP 7: OTHER QUALIFICATION DETAILS Tick no and click

6 ONLINE APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 5 STEP 8: WORK EXPERIENCE / EMPLOYMENT DETAILS Tick no and click continue STEP 9: ENGLISH TEST DETAILS Tick no and click continue STEP 10: DOCUMENT UPLOAD Please submit certified copies of ID, transcripts and testamur (completion certificate) NOTE: If you are awaiting final results these can be submitted at a later stage. Upload the relevant documents and click continue STEP 11: REVIEW YOUR APPLICATION This is where you can review your application and edit if you need to make any changes. If you are satisfied with the details you have provided and your application is complete please click continue

STEP 14: APPLICATION RECEIPT Please take note of your receipt number which can be used when querying the status of your application. It is also your proof that your application has been submitted Your receipt number Once you have submitted your application you will receive the following as proof of submission, you can also use this to log back into your application portal to see the status of your application.
