We never stop fighting. MDA individuals and sponsors, like you, raise funds year-round to help make possible our worldwide research efforts, which funds some 400 individual scientific investigations annually, representing the largest single endeavor to advance knowledge of neuromuscular diseases and to find cures and treatments for them. MDA provides a vast array of comprehensive medical services; from the 235 hospital-affiliated clinics across the country, enhancing mobility and independent living that is available in each community through MDA s local network of field offices, to over 90 MDAsponsored camps offering a wide range of programs for young people ages 6-21, where activities are geared toward abilities not disabilities. So, if you would be so generous, around the most generous time of the year; Christmas, to find it in your heart and your pocketbook to commit (not pay at this time) the same level of sponsorship or higher than last year, check it off on the attached mailer and put it back in the mail, we can get the campaign off and running on the right note at the right time of the year; Merry Christmas!
