Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics in co-operation with Stockholm University School of Business invite you to take part in prestigious studies: EXECUTIVE MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Characteristics This is the first intensive, international program in management and business held in southern Poland. The curriculum of the studies was composed to meet the needs of people holding managerial positions. The knowledge gained will facilitate bold solutions of problems, enable faster decision making and allow a variety of strategies in managing an enterprise. Partner of the program Stockholm University School of Business is a part of Stockholm University, the largest facility of that kind in Sweden. Stockholm International Business Institute (SIBI) incorporated with the framework of the University actively participates with public institutions and businesses, implements individual research programs, and educates professional managers. During first four terms there are classes divided into thematic blocks. The fifth term is totally dedicated to writing the thesis. Studies comprise 500 hours (450 teaching hours + 50 hours of working on one s own), 30% of which are conducted in English. A part of credit assignments and final tests are also in English, including the final thesis. Curriculum is composed of thematic blocks that include multi-faceted management of an enterprise, marketing, accounting, finance, international law, psychology of management, cross-cultural aspects, contemporary economic problems of the world. The curriculum also incorporates a course in Business English.

Methodology of conducting the classes The classes are conducted in various forms, which allows to understand individual business processes, to exchange experiences with other participants of the program, to know the specialists opinions and the latest trends in enterprise functioning. Program participants are offered: lectures, exercises, case studies, field classes (integration and training trips) in Poland and Sweden, visits to enterprises. Lecturers Lecturers conducting the classes on MBA studies in Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics are academics and business practitioners from companies and public institutions. Academics from: Cracow University of Economics, Stockholm University School of Business. Business practitioners from renowned enterprises. Applied languages 70% of the program are conducted in Polish, 30% are delivered in English, which is also the language of some final credit assignments an the thesis.

Diploma Students receive two diplomas having defended the thesis: the first one is issued by Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics, the second one is issued by Stockholm University School of Business plus a certificate issued by the Minister of Higher Education. What makes our MBA Program special? An additional asset, apart from the knowledge which our students gain during the MBA program, is building net-working and integration. The School meets these requirements by organizing numerous projects that require active participation of students and alumni. The projects initiated by Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics are: MBA CLUB, integration and training trips (in Poland and in Sweden), MBA Congress an initiative, which aims at integration of a wide group of people whose professional development path is connected to MBA studies. It is also a possibility of an unusual meeting of the worlds of science and of business. I Ogólnopolski Kongres MBA (The First All Polish MBA Congress) was organized in 2005 year under the motto: New trends in enterprise management in modern world. The second Congress under the motto: MBA and challenges of modern business took place within 19 20 of May 2006. The guiding principle of the 3rd All Polish MBA Congress of 11 12 May 2007 was the issue of leadership. 4th All Polish MBA Congress took place 6 8 June 2008. 5 th All-Polish MBA Congres concerning Scenarios of Companies Success in the Times of Crisis took place within 15-17 of May

This contest is conducted in the virtual world among managers running their own companies. Recruitment Requirements A candidate must present a diploma of completion of higher studies and possess a proven record of at least two year at a managerial position. He/she should also submit two letters of reference.

It consists of 3-4 parts and it allows to assess candidate s proficiency in English, aptitude for logical thinking, ability to do mathematical operations, and ability to work under time pressure (a sample GMAT test is available at Cracow School of Business website, link Recruitment) Stage Three: the interview The interview is conducted by the recruitment commission at Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics. Its main objective is to become acquainted with the professional background of candidates, their motivation and future targets. The School pays utmost attention to the appropriate selection of candidates.

Participation costs The cost of full MBA program amounts to 7500 euros. That tuition fee may be remitted in installments.
