24 Application procedure and entrance requirements o Online application at o Non-EU citizens must provide proof of English skills: o Cambridge ESOL s Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) CEFR level C1 or o Cambridge ESOL s Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) CEFR level C1 or o Pearson test of English (Academic 51) or o IELTS academic level 6.0 or TOEFL internet-based test or o skills level 4 in English in all parts (English communicative oral skills, reading comprehension and writing) in the National Certificate of Language Proficiency o High school graduation diploma or a document that proves that an applicant graduates from high school before August 2014

27 Residence permit requirements o Your livelihood in Finland must be secured with a deposit in your own bank account or with an official scholarship! o You must have 560 euros for each month you intend to stay in Finland, i.e euros for a one year residence permit o You must be covered by a private health insurance during your stay in Finland! o As a degree student, your insurance must cover both accident and illness related medical expenses individually up to a minimum of euros.
