1 Getting Started 1.1 What do you need? MANDATORY: An ipad; A WIFI access point or router; A supported printer (please see Appendix A); 4

1.2 ipad Download on your ipad ipratico POS, free application available on Apple Store. For informations regarding how to install an application on your ipad please refer to: http://www.apple.com/it/ipad/from- the- app- store/ WARNING: ipratico POS fully functional but You can print 1.000 documents then an activation is required. Please contact Goldenservice Srl or a local distributor. 1.3 Antenna WIFI If you want to print your documents on a printer it has to be connected in the same network where your ipad is connected. - - Connect your ipad to your wifi network; Connect your printer to the same network; Network configurations (ipaddress and subnet) are free, but we recommend to keep always same address in order to have a more clear understanding of your network in case of remote support. 1.4 Printers Please verify in Appendix A printers model and configurations required for every version of ipratico POS. 5

2 Quick Start 2.1 First Launch 2.1.1 Localizations ipratico POS will inherit localization informations from ipad language. Right now ipratico POS supports: - Italian (Euro); - English (Pound/Dollar); - German (Euro); - Spanish (Euro); 2.1.2 PIN: User Authentication At first launch you will be prompted to insert a valid PIN of 4 numbers. Default user GUEST as an associated default pin 0000; 6

Once inside ipratico POS you will be able to create your own user with your personal PIN. 2.1.3 Configuration Area Tap on the small gear in left upper corner will open up ipratico POS configurations area. Please find below every object you can customize, create, modify etc : 7

Departments: Configure fiscal department. [Applicable in Italy: Those are fiscal deparment with a generic description that should match deparments in your fiscal printers] Those objects will appear as black button in the Departments area and first 4 deparments in the Mix area; Please refers to APPENDIX A for printer departments configurations!!! Products: You can configure as much products as you want; Add a description, a price and a custom photo. This products will appear as a buttons in the product area; Discounts: Create your own fast- choice discount or surcharge. It could be configured as percentage or a fixed value; Discounts will appear as a black buttons in the Discounts area and first 4 discount in the Mix Area; Tickets: [Applicable in italy] You can create your own tickets (Buoni Pasto) with a fixed value and a custom description and image. Tickets will appear in the payment method tickets area. Employees: This form will let you create every user you want for ipratico POS access. Almost all operations are tracked based on the user performing it. Every user can have is personal PIN and can be associated to a specific user type with grant and permissions. Users list will appear in the login screen or when the ipratico POS is locked. Categories: Every products can be associated to a macro category which is used as a fast search system and for simplify products catalog. Ex. You can create the category DESSERT which could contains products like APPLE CAKE, TIRAMISU, ICE CREAM etc Categories are showed in the categories area. Customers: Keeps saved all your customer informations so you can print fiscal document with a customer header, like invoices. You can select a customer from the Customer button. 8

Printers: Record every printer you have in your network saving your IP address. Assign every document type to a specific printer (available from ipratico POS v 1.1). Please refers to APPENDIX A for printers configurations!!! Printers status is visibile from the small printer icon in the bottom bar. Red printer: printer offline; Yellow printer: something is wrong with your printer ex. End paper; Green printer: printer ready to print; User type: (available from ipratico Pos v.1.1) Here you can create every user type you want and decide which permissions and grants this user type should have. User type is nothing visibile but always impact how an user can use and navigate inside the application. Settings: Choose your ipratico POS preferences in order to let your business go as fast as it can. Informations: Restaurant header informations are downloaded from ipratico.com once Logged in. If you does not login you will always this field empty and after 1.000 documents ipratico POS will not print anymore. 3 BACKUP 3.1 How to Backup 3.1.1 Sync with itunes Every ipad application can be easily back upped with a simple sync with itunes. Every time you want backup your application data you can back up your ipad, every time you want restore an old version you can sync ipratico POS. Please refers to: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_us/ipad_user_guide.pdf 3.1.2 Drop Box ipratico v1.2 is fully integrated with Drop Box (www.dropbox.com). Every user can create a personal account for free and upload and download ipratico POS database and images every time he would like with a simple click. *Internet connection is required 4 APPENDIX A 4.1 Printer models and Configurations 4.1.1 Printers ipratico 1.0 supports: - - CUSTOM KUBE II F; CUSTOM Q3F; 12

Custom printers are ETHERNET printer so you can connect directly, through an ethernet cable, your printer to the wifi antenna. MANDATORY CONFIGURATION: PORTA ETH PROTOCOLLO PORTA IPADDRESS SUBNET REPARTI Controllo da PC CUSTOM DLL 9100 Valid IP Address based on your network Valid Subnet based on your network Configure your first 4 deparments as you ve configured in ipratico POS 4.1.2 Fiscal Printers Hints [only Italy applicable] Appena lanciato ipratico POS porta con se 4 reparti precaricati (Reparto 1, Reparto 2, Reparto 3, Iva Esente) con determinati valori di IVA e di importo. Questi reparti sono editabili ma NON eliminabili. Si suggerisce di configurare le caratteristiche e l ordine dei reparti PRIMA su ipratico POS per poi riportare esattamente uguale la stessa configurazione sulla stampante fiscale (o viceversa). L associazione dei reparti e POSIZIONALE: la descrizione Reparto 1 di ipratico POS e solo un testo di comodo e non si lega al Reparto 1 della stampante fiscale. ESEMPIO: Per la seguente configurazione di ipratico POS 13

Verranno configurati i reparti della stampante fiscale nel seguente modo: Reparto 1 della stampante corrisponde al reparto IVA Esclusa di ipratico POS (RICORDARSI LA CORRISPONDENZA POSIZIONALE!!!!). Associare al reparto 1 della stampante le stesse caratteristiche del reparto ipratico POS IVA esclusa. Viene suggerito di non impostare il LIMITE MASSIMO su una battuta per reparto. Il limite massimo e utile per evitare che un errore di battitura causi la stampa di scontrini di importo elevato. ipratico POS mette sempre in evidenza il totale del documento e ogni riga e sempre editabile (si puo quindi correggere) PRIMA della stampa del documento. 14
