Important Buttons Clear - Will clear all functions off the selected button. This is NOT the button to press if you messed up and want to go back That would be the X in the bottom right corner Update - Updates the phone with your changes. Give it about 5 seconds to be ready to go
Feature Descriptions DSS / Busy Lamp One Touch Dial for an extension PLUS extension status and pickup Direct Page Calls a phone and puts it on speaker Annoying in an office setting but allows you to call a classroom and listen
User Speed Call One touch dial to an outside line Private version does not display called number on the phone Awesome for when you don't want a student to see the destination CDE Speed Call One Touch Dial for an extension
Personal Presence - "Twinning" (it has winning right in the name) Call rings to desk for half a ring then to cell phone Call can be transferred to and from cell IN MID CALL Transfer / Conference Transfer a call or conference two calls together Do Not Disturb Stops internal calls from ringing your phone

Tips & Notes Dial 8 to get outside line You can turn twinning on or off via the web This is handy when you go home and forget to switch it off Your phone has three pages for programming Test features on page 3
Cellular Backup Feature Use your cell to take a photo of the settings on a button that you are about to change i.e. There is no backup IT Can reset passwords if necessary Call the hotline and open a ticket like anything else
Final notes I.T. lived on these phones (actually the step down from yours) and loved them. EXCEL has been living on this system for over a year This system adds features and saves SCOE money
