Oil and gas - Fiscal flow measurement E-field operation: self-standing meters with advanced diagnostics More cost-efficient quality measurement Measurement of CO 2 injection Non-intrusive ultrasonic fiscal flow metering technology Subsea flow metering for allocation (marginal fields, deep water) Metering of cold products, such as liquefied natural gas (LNG)

Multiphase flow measurement New sensors technologies New technology to identify the flow regime in real time to increase measurement accuracy Multiple cross sectional measurements and robust semi-empirical models New combinations of measurement principles

Synergies Fisheries Industry Buying/selling natural resources Measurement uncertainty has large consequences Resource management Oil & Gas Industry Fish/ water or Fish/ water/ air Fiscal measurement Multiphase flow measurement Oil/ water or Oil/ water/ gas

Fisheries fish flow metering Since 1996 CMR has developed a unique fish flow measurement technology based on technology and competence previously developed for the oil and gas industry Pilot testing of 3 CMR Fish Flow Meters will commence on board purse seiners in November M/S Libas M/S H. Østervold M/S Slettholmen

Fisheries - MR and CT measurements CT Cooperation with UoB and Haukeland University Hospital to build a new basis for development of new innovative fisheries technologies MR

Environmental monitoring The oil and gas activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf expand to environmental and political sensitive areas offshore the northern parts of Norway and in the Arctic Need to 1. document the environmental status before human impact 2. observe and predict the influence of weather, ice and sea states to ensure safe exploration of oil and gas 3. document the effects of oil and gas activities on the nature
