02 Who We Are Nashua Communications is a wholly owned Reunert Ltd subsidiary forming part of the Nashua Group. Reunert is a leading South African company, listed on the JSE in the industrial goods and services (electronic and electrical equipment) sector. Reunert manages a number of businesses focused on electronics and electrical engineering and regularly ranks among the country s top companies. Nashua Communications is the amalgamation of three leading providers of communications technology in Southern Africa under Reunert Limited: 2009 2012 July Reunert acquired Siemens Enterprise Communications Pty (Ltd), a company specialising in Enterprise Communications. This company became part of the Nashua Group and was renamed Nashua Communications (Pty) Ltd. Nashua Communications acquired KSS Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a Cisco Silver Partner specialising in network architectures designed to take advantage of convergence technology. The merging of these three entities has created a renewed Nashua Communications and a significant player in the ICT industry, being one of a select group of SA companies to be certified by three of the world s top vendors namely Siemens Enterprise Communications*, Cisco and Microsoft. 05 Our Solutions Portfolio COLLABORATION CONNECTIVITY Last Mile Connectivity Business Internet Access Virtual Private Network (VPN) Provisioning of managed physical access circuits, e.g. DSL and/or ADSL, fibre, Metro Ethernet or wireless, from customer premises to closest point-of-presence on our core network; enabling customers to use our converged voice and data offerings. Providing corporate businesses with high performance, resilient and cost-effective Internet connectivity; via our national network through to the South African Internet Exchange (SAIX). Using MPLS (multiprotocol label switching) businesses have the ability to create their own VPNs across our core network.
