Condition Of Sanction: The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA-S member coach, must be certified by a USA-S member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited. Sponsored By: T2 Aquatics Type Of Meet: Timed Final 25-yard Short Course 8&U, 10&U, 11-12, & Open age groups. Meet management may opt to use fly-over starts at this competition. Date & Time: The following schedule will be used Friday: All age groups: Warm Up: 4:00 pm Meet Start: 5:00 pm The following schedule will be used Saturday: All age groups: Warm Up: 10:00am Meet Start: 11:00am Meet management reserves the right to adjust warm up and session start times once entries have been received. Meet Management also reserves the right to assign teams to two warm-up sessions if necessary to accommodate large numbers of swimmers. Warm-up schedule will be available 2 days before the first day of the meet on the T2 website (t2aquatics.com). Location: Norris Aquatic Center, 13275 Livingston Rd., Naples, FL 34109 Pool Specifications: Outdoor pool certified 22 lanes, 25 yards, non-turbulent lane lines. Eight lanes will be used for competition. Warm-up/down lanes will be available during the meet. Water depth at the competition starting end(s) is a minimum of five feet zero inches. Water depth at the competition turn end(s) is a minimum of five feet zero inches. The starting blocks are 29 inches above the surface of the water. Timing Equipment: Colorado Electronic Timing (System 5 w/ single line digital display) with touch pads and plungers and 1 watch per lane. Stop watch timing may be used at this meet with 2 watches per lane in lieu of touch pads and plungers. Stop watch timing with plungers and no pads may be used. US Swimming Rules and Regulations 104.2 will be followed when an initial distance time is needed, including for relay lead off times in sessions 3 and 6. Teams/Coaches must notify the meet referee prior to start of the session and provide three additional timers for the needed times. Eligibility: Open to all currently registered USA Swimmers. Deck Registrations and Entries will be accepted up until 30 minutes prior to the session start time. The 2017 USA-S form, fee and proof of birth, if required, must be presented to the Referee. Seeding: Use 25 yard short course times. Conversions, using the formula in the current Florida Swimming handbook may be used, for entry and seeding purposes. All 400 IM and 500 Freestyles, will be deck seeded. To be seeded in one of these events, swimmers must check in 30 minutes prior to the start of that session.

Entry Limit: Entries will be limited to 500 swimmers per session. Meet Management reserves the right to limit entries and ensure that sessions fall within the USA Swimming and Florida LSC rules. Individuals are limited to 4 events per day (plus relays). Entries that exceed the entry limit(s) will automatically be dropped when they exceed the limit for the meet or day. There is no limit on relay entries. Please designate relays as A, B, C, etc. Scratches: Scratching from Timed Final Events: No penalty for scratching on the block with the exception of deck seeded events. Any swimmer entered in an individual deck seeded event who has checked in for that event must swim the event unless he/she notifies the clerk of course before the seeding has begun that he/she wishes to scratch. Failure to do so will result in the swimmer being barred from the next individual event in which he/she is entered on that day or the next day of the meet, whichever is first. Deck seeded events shall be closed for seeding as listed on the order of events. Exceptions for Failure to Compete in a Deck Seeded Event: No penalty shall apply for failure to withdraw or compete in an individual event if: A.) The Referee excuses the athlete due to a medical exemption. B.) It is determined by the Referee that failure to compete is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the swimmer. The host team will send a confirmation email within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not hear back from T2 Aquatics within 24 hours, then assume that your entries have not been received and call the Meet Entry Director or try to contact the Meet Director. Entries will not be considered received/complete until the entry check is received. If the entry is Deck Entries: Deck entries may be allowed at the discretion of meet management up to 45 minutes prior to the start of the session. The deck entry fee is $10.00 per event. Entry Fee: Make checks payable to: T2 Aquatics $4.00 per individual event $5.00 per timed final relay $10.00 facility fee (including relay-only swimmers) Deck entries: $10.00 per event (individual or relay) (Deck entered swimmers must also pay the facility fee if they haven t done so already.) Entry Deadline: All entries must be received no later than 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 Awards: Awards for individual places 1-8 and relay places 1-3 will be given. No awards will be mailed. Please pick up awards at the meet. Identification: Coaches and Officials shall wear their USA Swimming registration card in a conspicuous location at all times while on deck during a swim meet or officials and coaches can prove their current membership on Deck Pass. Camera Zones: Per Florida Swimming Rule 223.12, Meet Management shall designate and inform the public of Camera Zones at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable Camera Zones may include, but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gathering areas, concession area, turn-end of competition course when not in use as a start-end, etc. Meet Management shall also designate Non-Camera Zones. Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starting purposes during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Rule 239.2.

Warm Up Schedule: Except for controlled racing starts, every swimmer must enter the water feet first. There will be a 50 minute warm-up prior to each session. Warm-up procedures may be altered by the meet marshal to fit the needs of the swimmers. The first 35 minutes are general warm-ups. Lanes 1-8 Circle swimming The last 15 minutes are controlled warm-ups as follows: Lanes 1, 8 Pace Lanes 2, 7, Race starts, one way only Lanes 3, 4, 5, 6 Circle swimming HOTELS: There are many fine hotels in the Naples Area.
