2 36 th Dr. Csik Ferenc Memorial Competition Sopron Cup November Objective of the Event: Swimming competition for the honour of Dr. Csik Ferenc Olympic champion, this is the continuation of the previous memorial competitions which set a worthy monument for the excellent free swimmer and ensure opportunity to compete. Location: Lővér Fürdő Dr. Csik Ferenc Swimming Pool, Sopron, Lővér krt /3 m, 8 lanes, electronic timing Water temp: 27,3 C Date of the Event: 22 nd November Saturday 12:30 PM 23 rd November Sunday 10 AM Organizers of the Event: Sopron Megyei Jogú Város Sportfelügyeleti Csoport Soproni Úszók Baráti Köre Sportegyesület Main sponsors of the competition: Participants: Soproni Vízmű ZRT. Dr. Csik Ferenc Alapítvány Those, for the event registered competitors, who have race permission of the Hungarian Swimming Federation or of their respective country of origin, also having valid sports medical certification and a passed minimum swimming exam. Date of birth to be after 1st January The jury won't accept the nomination if the registration conditions are incomplete. The check of the sport medical certificates and competitors cards, and the payment of nomination fees will be at 22nd November 2014 between 11 and 12 hours on the spot.

The sequence is not mandatory. In the relays can start younger age groups competitors, please indicate on registration form. Ranking: The jury divides the competitors to time trials, based on the indicated results in registration form and according the rules of competition. The finals places will be set on basis of the result of time trials. In the finals can start the competitors with the best time results. The organisers and the jury maintain the right for modification.

5 SOPRON-CHALLENGE In this year we would like to organize this successful event for ninth time. SOPRON-CHALLENGE-et. On Saturday, after the 12th events will be an award ceremony and after that will take place the SOPRON-CHALLENGE. This is an event in which 8 girls and 8 boys take place, based on the result of 33 1/3 m freestyle. In the absolute category (without age groups) will compete the best 8 competitors. 8 competitors are in starting block in the first start. The distance: 33 1/3 m (1 length). The weakest swimmer fall out and will be 2,5 minutes rest, after that 7 competitors are in starting block based on the previous race time. The fastest will be in the 4th track, the second in the 5th track, the third in the 3rd track and so on. One competitor will fall out again. And so it goes until will not be a winner. The first three swimmers will receive prizes and the winner wins the SOPRON-CHALLENGE cup. First the girls and then the boys will compete. We hope that everyone will like this event and this will be a tradition.

6 Prizes: The 1st 2nd 3rd swimmers will receive medals. Evaluation: see age groups. If the time result of the winner (in the 100 m freestyle men) is better than in the previous memorial competitions the best time - 0:51.05 Zubor Attila (Bp. Spartacus ) - the swimmer wins the Mayor office Special Prize. The Special Prize of Dr. Csik Ferenc Alapítvány will win the first three swimmers in the 100 m freestyle men competition in form of money. 1. prize: ,- HUF 2. prize: ,- HUF 3. prize: ,- HUF Points: scoring in the individual and relay events, too. The best team in the scoring will win the Sopron Cup. The most successful girl and boy (from Soproni ÚBKSE) win the Special Prize of Soproni Vízmű ZRt. In case of equal point the more first place or the more second place or the best time in the 100 m freestyle will be the relevant. The best girl or boy who swim under 1:04,0 and 1:00,0 (from the Sopron ÚBKSE) get the Cup of Vécsei Vilmos - champion of Sopron City Eternal Diving. Age Groups: Women and Men 2007 and younger and older

7 Costs: The organization of the event and the prized are covered by the organizers. All other costs to be paid by the participating teams and competitors. Entry: In the entry form issued by the organizers. The competition will be with computer data processing. Please fill the registration form correctly and readable with block capitals! We can accept just the pre-registration teams. The incorrect and unreadable or after the entry deadline received applications cannot be accept. The swimmers can start just in their own age group and there will be evaluated. Entry deadline: 14. November (Friday) 20:00 PM (The entries will be previewed from 20. November on website.) The modification is possible to 21. November 2014 (Friday) 12:00 AM because of illness or other reasons. Entry cannot be accepted at the event. Entry: Information: Mr Zoltán Szabó Head Coach (+36) 30/ Entry fee: 3.000,- HUF / competitor, on the spot, in cash before the competition, for end of the warm-up on 22. November (Saturday) 12:00 AM against invoice in the competition agency. There is no entry fee for relays.

8 Others: In the competition there is valid the MÚSZ-ÚASZ regulations of rulebook, failing that is applicable the FINA requirements. In the competition is the one start rule! Please the coaches inform their competitors! The 36th Dr. Csik Ferenc Memorial Competition - Hungarian Swimming Federation permission number... Protest: You can submit to the president of jury in writing against 5000 HUF which the jury will decide on the spot. The interested parties have to acknowledge the decision. We post the minutes no later than three days. Price 1.500,- HUF and includes the results of both days. You can take over the minutes in CD on the spot after the competition, it is 500,- HUF. You can be viewed the result on the website of the association, will be available from 28.
