About Our Golf Club Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa, known originally as Chesterton Golf Club was built in 1973 and designed by Mr R. Stagg. The golf club was purchased by the Payne family and they have taken the whole facility into the 21st Century. The golf course is complemented by 11 lakes strategically placed around the course; these lakes help to provide a challenge to every kind of player in the golfing world. A basket of balls on the driving range will mean you hit the first tee ready for action. Once on the course, substitute some length for accuracy, better scores come from the fairways. Our Driving Range The 10 bay driving range has the most up to date artificial grass and is positioned from a raised teeing area with many targets at different distances to help concentrate your practice, or enable you to have fun competitions with fellow golfers. Range tokens are available from either the professional shop or spa reception.

Golf Tuition We as professionals strive to make what someone already does more efficient rather than making everyone do the same thing. One size does not fit all in golf. We offer a range of golf break options; all of our packages include dinner in our Grays Restaurant, bed and breakfast and full use of our gym and poolside facilities from 12 noon on the day of arrival to 12 noon on the day of departure. The Professional Shop Bicester Golf Shop has a full range of golfing apparel and equipment, there is something for everyone whether you are a regular golfing member or looking for that special present. We are stockists of Oscar Jacobson, Footjoy, Nike, Callaway, Taylormade, Ping, Ecco, Glenmuir and Oakley. However being a part of foremost buying group if there is something in particular you are looking for and you can t see it just ask us, we can order individual items. The professional team offer a full custom fit facility and have many demo clubs that you can take onto the course so you can try before you buy. We aim to be more than competitive on pricing, with our members receiving 10% off current stock ranges. However we believe that to be able to speak to one of our team and get expert advice to ensure you are buying the right product is even more important. Our 19th Hole (the brand new golfers bar) is currently under construction and will be finished April 2015. This will be a fantastic facility that will cater for all golfing events for some 100 plus people. This will be the hub for all golf related social events and will replace the existing members bar. From the M40 Motorway Exit the M40 at Junction 9 and proceed North on the A41 dual carriageway towards Bicester.
