Lucy Arellano 2 Research Analyst, Diverse Learning Environments, Higher Education Research Institute, UCLA, 2007-2011 Assisted in creating a national diversity survey instrument measuring educational outcomes, campus climate, and institutional practices now available nationally through the Cooperative Institutional Research Program. Coordinated site visits to pilot institutions around the country to understand the collegiate environment by interviewing students, administrators, and faculty. Collaborated with team members to conceptualize, design, and author grant proposals. Organized the inaugural Diversity Research Institute which is now offered annually through the Higher Education Research Institute.
