For Attendees Joining a Training To join a training session, you must first register for the session. Click the Registration link from the GoToTraining invitation email to fill out the registration form. From the Registration and Catalog pages, you can click Show in My Time Zone and then select your own time zone from the drop-down menu to set and view training sessions in your selected time zone. All future emails for the training session display the training session's date and time in your selected time zone. If you have registered through an invitation email or registration link, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the training. If you are joining a training session that is already in session and have not yet registered, you will be prompted to do so. Note: Some trainings may require your approval prior to the delivery of a confirmation email. To join a training from a confirmation email 1. Open the confirmation email. 2. Click the link to join the training provided in the confirmation email. 3. If prompted, click Yes, Grant or Trust to accept the download. 4. If the organizer has not yet started the session, you see the Waiting for Organizer screen. To join a training from a calendar application If you clicked the link Add to Calendar on your confirmation email, your training session is already scheduled on your calendar. 1. 3. On the Appointment page, at the scheduled time click the link to join the training. 4. If the organizer has not yet started the session, you see the Waiting for Organizer screen. To join a training from the jointraining.com web page 1. Type jointraining.com in your browser address bar. 2. Hit Enter. 3. On the Join the Training page, enter the Training ID and your Email Address. 4. Click Continue. To join a training from the GoToMeeting Suite for Mac 1. Click the GoToMeeting icon on your desktop. To join a training from the GoToMeeting system tray icon 1. Right-click the GoToMeeting icon in the lower-right system tray. 2. Select Join. You are prompted to enter the Training ID. Waiting for Organizer screen The Waiting for Organizer screen indicates that your training organizer has not yet started the session. GoToTraining Viewer and Control Panel - PC The GoToTraining Viewer and the attendee's Control Panel appear on the attendee's computer monitor whenever a training is in progress. Click to show/hide Control Panel. (a) Click to maximize/minimize the GoToTraining Viewer. (b) Click to use drawing tools. (c) Click to raise/lower hand. (d) If the organizer has unmuted the audio, click to mute/unmute your line. (e) Note: If you joined by phone, you must enter your PIN to mute/unmute your line. Attendee List: Viewable only if the organizer has made it visible to attendees. (f) Audio: Choose how you want to join the audio portion of the training. Audio options are set by the organizer. (g) Materials: Viewable only if the organizer has made it visible to attendees. Documents and links in this section are provided by the organizer.(h) Chat: Viewable only if the organizer has made it visible to attendees.(i) GoToTraining Viewer: The presentation is viewed in this window.
