This is your chance to become actively involved in shaping our future! As a graduate trainee in the Generation Program, you will work either in our Group-wide technology center on planning and realizing projects or you will dedicate your efforts to ensuring balanced energy production from coal, gas, waste, and nuclear energy at one of our production companies: E.ON Energy from Waste E.ON Kernkraft E.ON Kraftwerke E.ON New Build and Technology
Our energy is your passion Are you keen to reinforce your studies with practical experience and to gain a broad overview? If so, we can offer you the ideal introduction to the energy industry. Entry Your start at E.ON will be tailored to you. Over the course of an 18-month, individually planned program you will pass through various different placements, giving you the chance to become familiar with those areas of our business that are related to your specialist field. Further education Joint workshops and regular meetings are organized for all graduate trainees. The benefit for you: you will get better and better, exchange ideas and knowledge with other graduate trainees, and expand your personal network. Mentoring Your personal mentor and your contact partner in the HR department will provide you with constant support and career coaching when it comes to planning your program. They will help you to develop specialist know-how and make the most of your personal strengths.
Work right at the source All set for the off! Depending on the focus of your studies, you will be assigned either to conventional or nuclear energy generation, to waste incineration or our technology center. In each case you will start out at a headquarters location such as Hanover, Helmstedt or Gelsenkirchen. You will spend the first four months getting to know your new working environment intensively. After this you will complete at least three placements in different Group units and divisions. In doing so you will not only play a strategic role in project planning and operations at our technology center, you will also get plenty of hands-on experience at a power plant. Seeing the picture In order to give you as broad an overview as possible, your program will also definitely include a generation area that lies outside of your chosen field of specialization. Priority is given here, of course, to your personal preferences. A period of work abroad can also form part of your graduate traineeship, organized together with the department. Specialist workshops give you the opportunity to make contacts with other graduate trainees. Your mentor and your personal contact partner in the HR department will also help to open up other networks to you. They will be on hand to assist you whenever you need them and to help you to plan your program.
