Outlook Web Access (OWA) To access your Outlook/Exchange email account only: Using the Internet Explorer Web Browser (Version 5.5 or higher) type the following in the address bar: https://yourremoteaccessdomain/exchange (You will be provided with the exact URL during system setup) You can make this a favorite and add a shortcut to your desktop. Hit enter or click go, you should then get a Security Alert window regarding the Private SSL Certificate; Click Continue to this website. Once you accept the security certificate you should see the following window. 2
Enter your Domain\ user name and Password Client Tab: If you are on a high speed internet connection (Cable/DSL, etc) choose the Premium Option. If you are using a dialup connection choose the basic option. Security: Choose the appropriate option. You should now be connected to your congregation email account via OWA. Using OWA provides the majority of the functions used by the average Outlook email user, with the flexibility and speed of connecting via a standard web browser from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. 3
When you are done you should Log Off of OWA. 4
Remote Web Workplace (RWW) The Remote Web Workplace allows remote access to a user s local desktop computer as well as access to email. You must know the name of your computer to connect (Name is printed on a White Sticker on top of the computers) Using the Internet Explorer Web Browser (Version 5.5 or higher) type the following in the address bar: https://yourremoteaccessdomain/remote (You will be provided with the exact URL during system setup) You can make this a favorite and add a shortcut to your desktop. Hit enter or click go, you should then get a Security Alert window regarding the Private SSL Certificate; Click Continue to this website. 5
You should now see the Remote Web Workplace login screen. Login with your username and password. 6
If your login credentials were accepted you will see the Remote Web Workplace Main Menu screen. From this screen select Connect to Client Desktops 7
You should now be connected to computer connection screen. Choose your computer from the list; you can also click Optional Settings to select your screen size for the remote connection, as well as printing a file sharing options. 8
Optional Settings: When you are finished with the Optional settings click the Connect button. 9
You may receive the following dialog box, if you do click Yes. 10
You will now be connected to your local desktop. Login with your username and password. 11
When you are done with your desktop, you can log off your computer, then log off of the RWW. 12
