MID-YEAR Transcript If your school requests a mid-year transcript, you must request it from your counselor. MID-YEAR transcripts are not sent automatically. FINAL TRANSCRIPT Final transcripts are sent to the student s attending college in early July. Additional information will be given to students during a senior class meeting in May. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION It is the student s responsibility to make all arrangements for teacher recommendations. Students should ask selected teachers to write a letter of recommendation and upload into Naviance. The counselor will keep it on file, duplicate it and automatically include it with all applications.
Students should take all necessary tests by the end of December. IT IS THE STUDENT S RESPONSIBILITY TO RELEASE/SEND OFFICIAL SCORES. Most colleges want official SAT or ACT scores. This means that the scores must go directly from the testing company to the colleges. There will be no scores on student transcripts. Students must indicate the schools they want their scores sent to. Keep track of where you are sending scores. To request SAT scores be sent to colleges refer to www.collegeboard.org Fee Waivers; based on eligibility If you need to send ACT test scores, refer to the ACT website. www.actstudent.org

This is a secure site, individual student profiles and statistics are confidential and only accessible to the student, the student's parents, and the student's counselor. Once you have entered the Family Connection site, use the menus on the left side of the page to navigate through the various features which include the following and more. The college application process is enhanced with the use of Family Connection which is a link used by students, parents and counselors.
About Me: contains information specific to the student. My Colleges: allows students to keep track of the colleges they are considering, create an active application list as they apply and maintain a record of where they are in the process of applying to each college. About College: College Search: contains information about colleges and admissions statistics. extensive database of colleges searchable by selected criteria such as average GPA and SAT scores of students accepted, location, size of student body, majors offered, and cost. College Lookup: information on a specific colleges such as admissions requirements, majors, activities offered, statistics about the student body, and direct links to the college homepage.
