New arrivals development Since October 2013, BGY s terminal is being extended and upgraded. The works include new constructions and also refurbishment of the existing area: the airport s passenger capacity will be increased and the quality of services will be further improved. BGY s new arrivals area, inaugurated on 4 th August 2014, has been extended from 1.620 sqm to 2.295 sqm. The boarding hall will also see a significant extension, with more waiting areas and retailing activities. Inauguration of extended departures: by May 2015.
