Since its first inception in 1979, the Shediac Winter Carnival is a dream period of the year for all citizens to come and play in the outdoor while having the chance to see their neighbors and friends. The tradition is still going and we are celebrating the 37th Anniversary of the Winter Carnival. Your participation is important to assure the success of this event. Friday, January 30, 2015 New this year Snow volleyball tournament Fun and Challenge As part of the 2015 Shediac Winter Carnival, a Snow Volleyball Tournament will be held at the Pascal Poirier Park on January 30th - 31st from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 4vs4 (2 males / 2 females per team). Must be 19 years old or more. The cost for the tournament is $80 per team and it s cash only. The registration forms are available at the front desk of Hotel Shediac and on the website of the Town of Shediac. Over a dozen local photographers from Shediac and the surrounding area are organizing this unique event. The Musical Line is a presentation of a series of images of a topic that inspires a photographer. The images are displayed along with music. The magic of music and photos offers a very interesting and inspiring evening. The purpose of this event is to promote local photographers and also to raise funds for local organizations such as the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre, the Vestiaire St-Joseph Food Bank and others.
