Major Campaign Website Banner (HEADER): Sits at the top of Campaign website pages Image size (980px w x 300px h) ALL CAPS heading First additional text sentence also in UPPER case Subsequent additional text in Sentence case (unless otherwise specified) Must have a BUTTON as a call to action e.g. FIND OUT MORE, REGISTER FOR or similar No logo required Major Campaign Website Banner (FOOTER): Sits at the bottom, or mid-way through the pages specifically within Campaign Websites Image size (980px w x 146px h) Design to compliment HEADER banner (see above), but does not EXACTLY replicate it DESIGN: ALL CAPS heading Only 1 additional text sentence allowed to be presented in UPPER case (unless otherwise specified) Must have a BUTTON with a succinct call to action eg. FIND OUT MORE, REGISTER NOW or similar No logo required Page 4

FACEBOOK MAIN ASSETS: Facebook Timeline Image size: (851px w x 315px h) Sometimes called header image example above (yellow) showing it in situ which shows the square space that is also taken up by the profile image please ensure no critical elements are included in this area. Always include website URL for campaign, as image is not clickable. Facebook Profile Image size (180px x 180px) Also sometimes just referred to as logo, or header logo colour of logo background must complement timeline image. OTHER FACEBOOK IMAGES: Facebook feed image (to sit within Facebook feed) (what shows up when you post an image as part of standard post) Ideal image size: 403px x 403px Images to show in Facebook timeline as a preview, if your image is larger than 403px x 403px. If your image is larger than this, the preview will show as cropped image which may miss key parts of your message but if clicked on, the image will open to full size. It is best to avoid this if possible. Page 5

FACEBOOK ADS: Facebook ad image (for paid Facebook ads only): Image size (110px w x 72px h) See example of ad attached. Logo always to be centred, with background colour complementary to other elements in campaign. Example in situ: Page 6

FACEBOOK EVENT ASSETS: Facebook EVENT preview image Image size: 714 px w x 264 px h This larger image adapts to be the event preview image, the banner at the top of the event page, and the advertisement preview image if you boost your post. NEW template for this image configuration saved in DropBox folder at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fphi3j7swv9uafa/cq3d6rdsap Note: The placement of the text is particularly important given that Facebook uses specified parts of the file to display across the site. LINKEDIN: LinkedIn Banner: Image size: 646px w x 220px deep Does not need to include URL (as it is clickable), but URL is often handy to include in creative. LinkedIn ad image Image size: 50px x 50px Use same idea as what you use for Facebook ad images. LinkedIn standard logo Image size: 100px w x 60 px h Use same idea as what you use for Facebook ad images, but with logo centred. LINKEDIN COLLEGE PAGE (NEW) College standard logo Image size: 160px x 160px White background, standard Deakin Worldly logo College banner Image size: 800 px w x 273 px h OR (646 px w x 220 px h) File format: must be PNG Similar design as website slider, but with black colour gradient on left side only. No logo required TEXT: HEADLINE + brief tagline + website Must include website (short version) as this image is not clickable. Page 8

GOOGLE + Required: Cover Photo: Image size: Minimum size: 480px w x 270 px tall (can be animated using a.gif) Profile Picture: Image size: 250 x 250 pixels (standard square edges) Note: image adapts to the environment to fit into the design see example below that is using the same image, but has adapted the display of them. Events: Event image: Image minimum size: 940 w x 280 h pixels Extras: Profile Picture border size: Image size: 5 pixels Ribbon Photo: Image size: 5 x 110 pixels each (can be animated using.gifs) Profile picture In Stream: Image size: 48 x 48 pixels Shared Images: Image size: 497 x 373 pixels (up to 2048 pixels in lightbox) Post length: Image size: 100,000+ characters (Cannot edit link Title Tags or Meta Descriptions) Page 10

PINTEREST Profile Picture: Image size: 49 x49 pixels Resized from 160 x 160 pixel profile picture Pinned Images: Image size: 600px w x Infinite pixels Pin Description Length: 500 Characters (can include hyperlinks) YOUTUBE: YouTube background (as at May 2013) Image size (2120px w x 1192px h) One image that YouTube splices up and shows across various parts of our channel. Update via Channel Settings section of YouTube. NEW template for this image configuration saved in DropBox folder at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fphi3j7swv9uafa/cq3d6rdsap YouTube profile image: Image size: 800 px x 800 px (max file size 1MB) Generally this will be a Deakin Logo with a background colour that compliments the background. Update via Channel Setttings section of YouTube. Page 11

YouTube Carousel image: Image size: 545 px h x 970 px w Note: Arrows are automatically added by YouTube, so should not be included in design. TWITTER Twitter profile image Image size: design must complement header Background (128px x 128px curved corners are not required Twitter will adjust it automatically). See example attached. Please keep same as Facebook profile image design if possible for consistency. Page 12

Twitter Header image Image size: (520px w 260px h) Twitter recommends 1200 600, but it will resize any uploaded image to 520 260 pixels. Example of where it will sit on Deakin University Twitter account: Page 13

Twitter background Image size: (2000px w x 1400 px h) (same as YouTube in function), and most sits BEHIND the content. Left-hand section for logo and slogan, and possibly DATES of event. Example in situ: Page 14

EVENTBRITE Header banner: 980px w x depth suitable for design Footer banner: 980px w x depth suitable for design DEAKINWORLDLY.COM Banner image: Image size: 855px w x 460px h Do not include logo as this is overlaid in the system, but leave space so that no critical elements are covered by the logo - as shown. Promotional boxes: Image size: 285px w x 230px h Page 15

CAMPAIGN MONITOR (EDM system) Header image: Image size: 640px w x various (depending on content needs) Best practice is to include the Deakin logo within the design ideally top-right, or bottom-right corner of the Header image. Page 16
