Perennial flower beds, a bubbling stone fountain and outdoor bar make this an ideal location for your wedding reception or party. May through October are ideal months for an outdoor event. CREEKSIDE PATIO WEDDINGS $100 In addition to having your wedding reception on the Creekside Patio, it also available for informal weddings for an additional $100. The Patio is set up for the reception and your guests can sit at the tables or stand in the open areas. The bride and groom can pick a picturesque spot for the ceremony we suggest along the railing near the creek. CREEKSIDE LAWN WEDDINGS $300 plus chair rental seats 150 For more formal weddings, the Creekside lawn can be set up with rows of chairs and a center aisle. The lawn adjoins the patio reception area and after the wedding your guests enter the reception area through a beautiful rose-covered arbor. To have a wedding on the lawn you must book the entire lodge. REHEARSAL DINNERS The Creekside Patio can be booked for private and semi-private use for rehearsal dinners, a minimum of 40 people. The usage fee varies from $250 - $850 depending on the day of the week, length of time and number of people. It has high ceilings with Tiffany lamps, hardwood floors, a large antique oak bar, a pool table and brick walls filled with Jack London memorabilia. The saloon is always open to the public and we find many guests of private parties enjoy wandering in and out during the event or have post party get togethers in the saloon which stays open until 2am every night. FOOD AND BEVERAGE The bar and restaurant work closely together to coordinate your event. All food is provided by our own Wolf House Restaurant and alcoholic beverages by The Jack London Saloon. You may bring your own wine or champagne for $14 per bottle corkage. Tax and 18% gratuity apply to all charges. The Creekside Patio should be booked through the Wolf House Restaurant (707) 996-4401. FOOD The Wolf House has an excellent catering service and extensive menus that include hors d oeuvre receptions, buffet lunches and dinners, sit-down lunches and dinners and barbecues. For smaller rehearsal dinners and parties where a full bar is not being setup, the $50 bar setup fee does not apply. HOSTED BAR- BEER AND WINE ONLY You may host beer and wine only and have your guest pay for their own cocktails. However if you are considering this for economic reasons you should consider that the well drinks are less expensive than wine by the glass. Tax, 18% gratuity, a $50 bar setup and $12 per hour charge per bartender is additional. HOSTED BAR WITH LIQUOR You may have a hosted bar with beer, wine, and well drinks only. Well drinks include martinis, old fashion, Bloody Marys, margaritas (on the rocks) and the usual drinks with juice or soda. We use our normal well brands or you may have any of our call or premium brands and pay the additional costs. Tax, 18% gratuity, a $50 bar setup fee and $12 per hour charge per bartender is additional. DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS The patio usage fee is due when you book the facility and holds the date. Cancellation 8 months prior to event receives a full refund of the rental deposit. Cancellations 8 months or less forfeit the deposit unless we rebook the site. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DJ with amplification is allowed. Live music with amplification is not allowed. Live music with no amplification is allowed; Mariachi bands, calypso bands, jazz bands, steel drum bands, dance bands, string quartets, piano players are allowed as long as they aren t amplified. If you choose to have a band, understand that they can not use an amplified microphone or any form of amplification. This includes singing as well. This is a county ordinance that we are obligated to follow. If they bring in any type of amplification equipment they will be asked to take it back out. Music must be off by 10:00pm. Again this is a county ordinance so no exceptions may be made. If you need access to the patio for decorating purposes, earlier than the standard set up time of 2 hours, please let us know in advance so that arrangements can be made. Please let us know of any special deliveries, (Cake, Flowers, etc ), and their approximate delivery time. If you will need refrigerated storage space for your cake or flowers, please make arrangements with us in advance. Decorations may be tie on only. We do not allow tape, staples, pushpins, or nails. Rose petals with specific approval only. Please, no bird seed, rice or confetti. We set up and clean up. You are responsible for taking down your own decorations. Any decorations still up at 10am the next day will be removed and donated to the local church. Due to our liquor license no outside beer or liquor is allowed on the creekside patio or in the saloon at anytime. The Jack London Lodge & it s staff promotes responsible alcohol consumption and as such reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. It our policy to ask for ID for anyone under 40. If you are concerned about rain, we will be happy to quote a price and book a tent for you. May early June and October have the highest chance of rain. Cancellation for the patio & hotel is eight months in advance to receive a refund. If we can rebook the patio with another event & the hotel with another wedding party, you will receive a refund. Any refunds due will be paid within 30 days of the event or from the time you notify us that you are canceling. - 4 -
GUEST ROOMS Jack London Lodge P.O. Box 300 Glen Ellen California Office (707) 938-8510 Situated on the wooded banks of the Sonoma Creek, the Lodge offers 22 spacious rooms in a tranquil setting. Each room features lovely vintage furnishings and one king or two queen beds. A seasonal breakfast is offered and the grounds feature a swimming pool, spa, and lovely gardens. The Lodge is located in the center of Glen Ellen minutes from Jack London State Park and many excellent wineries. The rates are - $185 weekends & $120 mid week high season, $95-125 low season plus tax. There is a two night minimum on weekends and a three-night minimum on some three-day weekends. There is a $100 booking fee for large group reservations. RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS To reserve the lodge from May through October you must book the Creekside Patio for a reception or a rehearsal dinner for a minimum of 40 people. To book the entire hotel a $900 deposit will hold the rooms until 60 days prior to the event. This gives your guests a chance to book their rooms. If all the rooms are not booked sixty days prior to the event you may release those rooms and have your deposit returned less the $100 booking fee. If you wish to continue to hold rooms for your guests or for yourself within 60 days prior to the event, you will be responsible for those rooms not used. If you release any of the rooms within the 60 days and we can rebook them, you will not be charged. When your guests reserve all of your rooms, you may have your deposit refunded, or put the balance towards your bar bill. We accept personal checks, MasterCard and Visa. Any deposits made with MasterCard or Visa must be signed and will be charged to the account at that time. REFUNDS Any refund due will be paid within 30 days of the event or from the time you notify us that you are canceling the reservations. - 5 -
