Tour Itinerary Saturday Park your car at the Relyon Car Secure Parking Compound, Dover (parking charges payable locally - see http:// www.relyongroup.co.uk/ferry-parking). Embark the coach and then make the short journey to Dover Eastern Docks where you'll board a P&O Ferries crossing to Calais. After disembarkation sit back and relax on journey to Parris & your chosen hotel. The evening is at leisure in Paris. Sunday Breakfast followed by the coach transfer to the Paris Expo and the Retromobile Paris Classic Car Show Admission is included. Late afternoon/early evening transfer back to your hotel and spend your evening at leisure. Monday Breakfast followed by the coach journey back to Calais. It s located at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. La Tour Eiffel Located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most well known structures in the world. The Eiffel Tower was originally built as the entrance arch for the World's Fair in 1889. The structure is 320 metres (1050 feet) in height and was the tallest man made structure in the world for 41 years before being surpassed by the Chrysler Building in New York. Visitors can climb up stairs to the first two levels or take a lift. Seine River The Seine River flows from Dijon in the Alps, through Paris, joining the sea at Le Havre on the French coast. Paris lies 277 miles (445 km) from the river mouth and the slow-moving river is navigable up to 348 miles (560 km) inland from Le Havre, to Paris and beyond. You can cruise it on either tours boats or the hop on hop off boats, or walk along either the left or right bank. Notre Dame De Paris Not the largest cathedral in the world, the Notre-Dame might be the most famous of all cathedrals. The site of the Notre dame is the cradle of Paris and has always been the religious centre of the city. Bishop Maurice de Sully started the construction in 1163. The Cathedral was to be built in the new Gothic style and had to reflect Paris's status as the capital of the Kingdom France.
