Hello Everyone, With the year drawing to a close, I need to stop and thank my staff for their hard work and support. Not only support for me, but for each other as well. We had set some goals for ourselves for 2015 and I feel as though we have reached many of them. The most important goal for us was to restructure the kitchen and how we operate. That took a lot of cooperation along with trial and error to get us where we are today. It s easy for me to take the credit for all of your experiences and I really enjoy it when you share with me some of your highlights. But truth be told, I am not doing it alone back there, but am very lucky to have such a great team to work with. Additionally through restructuring, it was important to maintain a really positive work environment. Where everyone could not only depend on each other, but really enjoy each others company as well. We knew that if we maintained a positive work environment that it would be infectious. That a positive work environment would motivate everyone to be better at their jobs, try new things and most importantly not be afraid to fail. While everyone and everyday is not perfect, I couldn t be more proud of our team and their commitment to excellence in themselves. It may come as no surprise that it is always in our minds that we are trying to impress the membership with the food that comes out of the kitchen. So in 2016, we will set new goals and work toward them, to make the dining experience even better than before. Since last month s trivia question was rather easy and answered correctly by many members, I decided to make this month s trivia question a little more difficult. This month s question has 3 parts: 1st What year did the Nebraska Club move into its current location? 2nd What year did the Nebraska Club complete its first remodel? 3rd Who was the General Manager of the Nebraska Club during the time that these events occurred? The first member to contact General Manager Tom Westfall with the correct answers will win a fabulous prize! Good Luck!
