Special Programs Hockey Canada National Training Seminar August 3 rd 6 th Calgary, Alberta I was chosen to be involved in a National Training Seminar for Hockey Canada at Hockey Canada headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. This four day seminar covered many different categories such as Long Term Athlete Development, Skill Analysis, On and Off Ice Athlete Testing, and Mental Preparation. Some of the many guest speakers were Scott Smith, VP Hockey Canada. Bjorn Kinding Swedish Elite League Coach and founding member along with Dave King of the Hockey Skills Academies, and Dr. Stephen Norris of the Kinesiology Department at the University of Calgary.
