Students wishing to enrol The Student Services Department is inviting applications for Skolasajf 2013 for the post of: a. Coordinators (Form F attached) b. Teachers / Supply Teachers / LSAs / KGAs / KGAs (Special Schools) / Supply LSAs (Form G attached) Skolasajf 2013 will be held at the following s: 1. Helen Keller Secondary/Young Adult Education, Qrendi. 2. San Miguel, Primary Education, Pembroke. 3. Guardian Angel, Secondary Education, Hamrun. 4. Dun Manwel Attard, Young Adult Education, Wardija. 5. Ġużè Aquilina School, Sannat Unit, Gozo. The Skolasajf programme aims to provide an informal environment for students to enjoy a recreational programme during the Summer Holidays. The Programme will run as follows: Wednesday 17 th July 2013 to Thursday 1 st August 2013 (1 st Session) and Tuesday 20 th August 2013 to Thursday 5 th September 2013 (2 nd Session) Sannat Unit from 8.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. on a daily basis. Students attending Skolasajf 2013 at the Sannat Unit, Gozo, will be picked up from their homes at 8.15 a.m. and will leave school in good time to arrive home by 12.15 p.m. ALL other s will be operating 3 times a week from 8.00 a.m. till 14.40 p.m. These times include travelling time to and from the Centre.
Heads of School are kindly requested to forward the following information: a. The name of the person who will be acting as a Coordinator in this project. (Form F) (Preference will be given to the Head of School, Senior Teacher or any other member of the teaching staff opting to work in his/her own school. In such cases where more than one person applies, selection will be based on seniority). b. Names of members of staff interested in taking part in Skolasajf 2013. (Form G) c. Names of students who wish to attend. (Form H) The Coordinator/member of teaching staff may opt to work the first session, the second session or both sessions. 1 st Session 17 th July 2013 1 st August 2013 2 nd Session 20 th August 2013 5 th September 2013 Coordinators of the 1 st Session will be required to attend a Seminar on Monday 15 th July 2013 at the NCC, Ħamrun. Coordinators and staff working in the s for the 1 st Session will also report for duty on Tuesday 16 th July 2013 to finalise the programme and transport duties. Coordinators of the 2 nd session will be required to attend a Seminar on Tuesday 6 th August 2013 at the NCC, Hamrun. DETAILED INFORMATION WILL BE FORWARDED IN DUE COURSE. As part of this duty, all Coordinators as well as Teachers/Supply Teachers/LSAs /KGAs/KGAs (Special Schools)/Supply LSAs taking part will be expected to participate to organise a centre-based Open Day/Talent Show. Tentative transport arrangements are also to be made by the centre using the usual transport forms. Coordinators/Teachers/Supply Teachers/LSAs/KGAs/KGAs (Special Schools) and Supply LSAs will be paid half their salary per diem on a pro-rata basis. All applications are to be submitted on the enclosed Forms F, G, and H or photocopies of these.
