1 Recommended Mathematics Implementation Options: Option #1 (Please note recommended rotations for Model A and Model B on pages 3-4) Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all K-8 students enrolled in mathematics as outlined in the At- A-Glance Document Implement as the state required core class remediation plan for all Level 1 & 2 students during Teacher Led Center (TLC) small group differentiated instruction utilizing the online program and the tools for instruction PDF lessons (See recommended rotation framework options on pages 3-4) Develop an implementation plan for the online program for classwork and/or homework for Level 1 & 2 students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week *Please note Rotation Model B is highly recommended for students with disabilities. Option #2 Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all K-8 students enrolled in mathematics as outlined in the At-A-Glance Document Implement the online program and the tools for instruction PDF lessons minimally for Level 1 & 2 students during before/after school tutorials monitored through sign-in rosters, progress monitoring reports, and instructional calendars-(see recommended schedule on page 5) Develop an implementation plan for the online program for classwork and/or homework for Level 1 & 2 students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week Option #3 (Secondary Grades 6-8 Intensive Math) Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all students enrolled in mathematics as outlined in the At-A- Glance Document Utilize the online program and Ready Florida MAFS book as the Intensive Mathematics class core curriculum to include weekly lab rotations for all Level 1 & 2 students (See recommended schedule on page 6) Develop an implementation plan for the online program for classwork and/or homework for Level 1 & 2 students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week * Please note schools offering Intensive Mathematics may also choose other implementation options for core classes. ELL Recommendation: Use the I-Ready program for Level 2-4 students. Level 1 students should continue receiving direct instruction from the teacher. 1
2 Recommended Mathematics Implementation Options: Option #4 Tier 3 Schools (ETO) 90 Minute Elementary Math Class Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all K-5 students enrolled in mathematics Implement as the state required core class remediation plan for all Level 1 & 2 students during teacher led small group differentiated instruction utilizing the online program, the tools for instruction PDF lessons and the Florida Ready books(see recommended rotation framework options on pages 7-9) Develop an implementation plan utilizing the online program during rotation and homework for Level 1 & 2 students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week Option #5 Tier 3 Schools (ETO) Middle School Math Class Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all 6-8 students enrolled in all mathematics courses Intensive math classes will utilize the online program and Ready Florida MAFS book as the Intensive Mathematics class core curriculum to include 30 minutes of teacher led small group differentiated small group instruction (See recommended rotation framework on pages 10-12) or develop a computer lab schedule to ensure sufficient computer access on a weekly basis Develop an implementation plan utilizing the online program during rotation and homework for ALL mathematics students Provide before and after-school access for computer usage for students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week * Please note schools offering Intensive Mathematics may also choose other implementation options for core classes. **Please note schools NOT offering Intensive Mathematics must either use Option #5 or Option #7 in the core classes Option #6 iprep Math Model Administer i-ready Diagnostic to all grades 6-8 students enrolled in iprep Math as outlined in the At-A-Glance Document Implement as the state required core class remediation plan for all Level 1 & 2 students during teacher-led student workshops utilizing the online program and the tools for instruction PDF lessons (See recommended schedule on pages 13-14) Develop an implementation plan for the online program for classwork and/or homework for Level 1 & 2 students Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week Option #7 School Site Developed Customized Plan Provide a minimum of 90 minutes of online instruction each week Other implementation items as determined by school site 2
