She has a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education from the Philippines, and completed 30 units for a Bachelor Degree Chai in Martin Supervision and Administration, as well. She has 15 years of experience Centre in teaching Manger high school and tertiary students before coming to New Zealand. She completed her Diploma in ECE in 2007 and became Fully Registered in October 2010. She also gained her Certificate in Business Management in 2010. Apart from her teaching experience with different age groups, her visits to Reggio Emilia, Italy and other countries gave her a deeper understanding of how children should be supported in their learning and what the educator's role. As a leader, she believes that when one door closes another opens for a better opportunity. Every day is new and every challenge is worth taking in. Salve! My name is Cami Margasoiu. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and English Language and Literature and a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. As a dedicated Reggio Emilia inspired educator, I place high value on responding to children s predisposition to enjoy the unexpected. I am a mum to two boys; Seth and Roark. Seth has just started school and is now in the Astron Room. Before I started teaching three years ago, I worked for six years at Auckland City Council, managing community and recreation leases on council parks and reserves. Kane Hancy Active Movement Teacher Active Movement Teacher Hi my name is Kane, and I hold a Diploma of Sport and Recreation and a Diploma of fitness from AUT. I run the Active Movement programme here at Bright Sparks for all ages. My background is in sport and fitness, before starting in early childhood I played rugby at NPC level and overseas. I then moved on to personal training and running my own rugby academy which lead me into teaching physical education for primary and intermediate children. From there I transferred my knowledge into the early childhood sector where I have been for two years now. I have a passion in introducing children to active movement and help them develop their gross motor skills; it s not just about their physical well being but also their confidence and communication. Fria Durano Receptionist Active Movement Teacher Hi, my name is Fria Durano. I am the receptionist at Bright Sparks Childcare Centre. I studied Bachelor of Secondary Education and Majored in Economics. Being a receptionist is such a challenging role for me as I have to be able to multi task and be able to accommodate the clientele at the same time. I enjoy this role so much as this gives me the chance to interact with the children and the parents. Gordana Tomic Centre Cook Hello/ Zdravo! My name is Gordana and I have been working for Bright Sparks Childcare Henderson for the past six months. My passion has always been making people happy with my yummy food and my scrumptious baking. 5

Important Reminders A review of our records indicates a number of outstanding accounts. This is a reminder that all fees are due to be paid in advance at the beginning of each week. This means that your account must always have a nil or credit balance. Clearance medical certificates must be provided upon your child s return to Bright Sparks if he/she was sick. Any medicine to be given to your child by his/ her teachers must always be in its original container. Late pick up fee: please be reminded that we are not licensed to have children in the centre after 6.00 pm. If you are going to be late do let us know as soon as you can and try and make alternative pick up arrangements. However if you are unable to arrive at the centre before 6.00pm a surcharge will apply ($1/ minute). The fee will be given directly to the two supervising teachers. 6
