PAULINE GOOCH EDUCATIONAL FUND The Savannah Community Foundation Recepients should be a graduate of an accredited high school, and be ranked in the top 1/4 of his/her graduating class based on grade-point average. Grants are to be based on need. Preference is given to graduates of a Chatham County high school to attend Armstrong Atlantic State University, graduates of Georgia high schools to attend the University of Georgia in Athens, and graduates of Glynn or McIntosh County high schools to attend any State-supported institution in Georgia. The focus of the scholarships is on needy students primarily, but not exclusively of Appling, Bleckley, Burken and Screven counties, Georgia. The awards will be based on (1) Minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 and (2) Majors in english, journalism and communication. The awards will be based on activities in and out of school, academic merit and such other criteria as may be established by the Scholarship. Savannah Bar Association scholarship 24 THE SAVANNAH BOARD OF REALTORS $1,500.00 Provide an annual $1,500.00 scholarship to be awarded to a student at Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah State University or Savannah Technical Institute.
